By the way this server use thai language but I think you can play normally, some people in there may speak english if they found any foreign player.

To be honest, I was shocked too when I enter this server. 

I believed there are people inside morroc about ~1000-2000 (just guess).
But when I travel to the other town there're seem to find group of people scattering all around.

SLS is mean for Self locking system.

Useful for prevent hacking by lock your ID when you quit it.

On this step, you just type another password and repeat-type it again for confirm. That's all.

LOL, it's past 11,500 now. Maybe it means total number of characters made? I don't know... I've seen a server that had that instead of total number of players online at the moment - Could be trying to trick players for those who don't catch on.

Their other servers are more "legit" in terms of the number of players. Their HR has ~330 based on their website. The other server has ~150.

But lol, 11,500 is terrifying.

How can "Online Players" mean total accounts/chars when the number keeps going up and down? Look at the amount of freaking Facebook likes they have on their Facebook page -- almost 160k.

RO is still extremely huge in Thailand, I wouldn't be so skeptical.

Edit: the number below the online player count is probably the number of people browsing the website currently or something.

That is not true. I mean you are misunderstood.
Online Player: 6819 are actual players who stay online in game current time.
"มีผู้ออนไลน์อยู่หน้านี้ 37 คน" is mean " There are users have active on this page". Yes, this page of site, not in game.

If you're not sure, you can see at my screenshot above and look at chatbox you will see system message "จำนวนคนออนไลน์ 9458" that I have checked with "/who" before take a screenshot.

Well, last time I checked it, the number of online players was stable so it gave me that effect. I was checking it for like a good 15 minutes doing refreshs once in a while and the number never changed. I guess it's a stable server then even if I bet that many are just merchants looking at the pic >_>

I think google bad translations didn't help me this time either ...

Hm, I didn't know the number could go down - I just saw that it went down now. Yesterday, the number was increasing for me throughout the time I paid attention to it, that's why. The reason why I suggested this was because another server did something like this before. But as someone pointed out, probably there's a few thousand vendors in-game lol. Maybe ~3,000-4,000 are real players (without dual clienting, etc).

Also, you do know that Facebook likes are so easy to buy, right? Pay $5 for 2000+ likes. There's a particular site that offers that along with other cheap things I don't doubt that they have a lot of Facebook likes, but I don't think all 157k likes are "true". Maybe just a few k's are.

Yes I agree if the # does go down by more than a few head count then it would be a good indicator that it's not total chars created.

Well the lower # is 19 right now, I think it will be obviously for those that are in game to tell the difference (someone said to provide a few ss? please do).  How can you not see more than 30 ppl in town if the server has 6k ppl online.  It shouldn't be a way to trick us, just language barrier.  Lol "Online Players : 7,290" and then if the lower one also translate to "people online now" why would both say the same thing.  Let's just say people = on the site ... idk

Actually, it's on the forum even if not on the website. One player posted it here once on the server and tried to do some advertisement outside of that section and it was the first server that I got knowledge of breaking the 9000 players barrier on pservers until I saw Phoenix.

Well, I know that country servers can, sometimes, get some good numbers[I remember to see a Portuguese server with near 1000 once, before they closed because of some irl problems with the admin] but still ... the number is gigantic ._. It's like the country is so closed that nobody have knowledge of servers outside of there to the point that the community just focus in 1-2 servers and make that amazing thing happen ._.

Btw, how many players has the official tRO? Someone knows? If it's like pRO then I guess that would explain, a bit, this since pRO is pretty much pay2win.

Rofl. They advertised to US players for the RO 2 release. Then, when they're about to release they say "o wait our license wit gravity onli sais some peeps from <small list of asia countries> can play HAHUEHUEHEUAHU." Scam artists then didn't set-up ACLs to block out other countries because they "didn't kno how" and that announcement was because Gravity probably was going to void their licensing. They're truly morons and it's definitely a double-standard company filled with scum-bags that are looking to make a buck. Even their company site is terrible, too.

Ncsoft as a company is pretty bad too, but in my oppinion Perfect World Entertainment is WAY WAY worse than any other company.

Why? Cash grabbing idiots which don't care a single bit for their playerbase (best example Neverwinter Online, which was release this month).
Countless exploits which destroyed the economy, what do the developers & pwe think is best? A 7 hours rollback XD (the exploit has been ingame since day one). Well played...

Anyways, about RO2:

Disclaimer: You will find typos, since i'm writing that without doublechecking, i want to give you guys my personal thoughts about the game.

TLDR;
RO2 failed for the second time, Ragnarok Online 2 ~ The legend of the second --fail--

I was pretty sceptical about the game and had many prejudices (played ro since it came out like almost 11 years or so).
First time i tried it (a week ago), it felt so slow and i couldn't stand the graphics for even 15 minutes...deleted the game after 10 minutes lol.

So i forced myself to DL it again to try it without prejudices....here is my resume:

- Hardcore artifical backtracking (prontera made so huge you walk 5 mins to get to your destination...)
- Cooldowns which make no sense, ie. Ressurection ~30 minutes cooldown anyone? Agi Up -> 10~14 seconds duration, 180 seconds cooldown....yeah right xD
- Card system ruined...not much to say about it
- Builds are a mess, try to stat STR as acolyte to deal more physical damage "This stat is not used by your current class" lol what?
- Casters (aco,mage etc.) are so slow, you cannot reduce the cast time, magic can MISS because your hitrate isn't high enough....
- Potions everyhwere...no blue potion making to refill your sp, no after 3 decades (that's when RO2 takes part) they finally have infinite blue pots, damn you scientists!? Ok...
- Graphics sucks (personal oppinion)
- Char design is lackluster, not highly detailed as it was in RO, i know it's harder to achieve, but all chars look strange and ugly
- No option to disable "voices", great i have to turn off the sound completely to not hear them, Sorry i don't want to hear "KYAAAAH, HAAAA UHHH AHHH" each time i cast holy light <.<
- Music okish, RO is still centuries ahead

+ Crafting system is very fun (that's the only thing that made me play for 8 hours)
+ PVP / Colloseum, gears don't matter, players get same hp regardless of the level, downside, highlevel players have more skills than low levels (obviously)

Sorry for that huge offtopic, but imo you don't miss out anything @ RO2, there are other games out there doing the same stuff and 100 times better.

And PWE is just awful, I played, maybe 5 of their games in the last 3 years and nevermore I will play something from them even if friends ask, their support is just horrible. Fixing bugs? Only in ways that give them profit. PWE for me is #1 in terms of bad online gaming companies.

I tried RO2 as well here in Australia...
My first word when i played RO2, is "wow!" and then few seconds later "this is sucks..." catch up with it...
I just don't get it how RO can be so much fun... but a lot has changed in RO2, and they way they change it man, it's like an entirely different game with the same name in my opinion,
Character build is heavily limited, skills are s***... and somewhat the gameplay felt very slugish...

Anyway returning back to topic with Phoenix RO,
I just heard that it closed down, but it looks like achieving 11k players within Thailand seems possible...
If you know how to use the statistic from our social media, you'll see that almost every gamer in Thailand played RO,
I'm not sure how accurate is this thou...
