apparently they relaunched the server recently and the specs seems pretty decent but how come it says its down when its only been like 2 month or so ?
i was just wondering whats going on with it D:!

I closed it weeks ago. I'm busy with real life work and i cant attend the server much.

Dude do not listen to this guy.  Real Life > RO.  If she closes it down 200 times thats up to her.  Real life over a game anyday and if you fail to see that and b**** cause they're the 'reason ro servers are dying' then you need a reality check.  There are tons of RO servers out there, instead of griping at this server owner just go find another server.  You wanna b**** about servers dying?  Go join officials.

Jblazer.. Private RO Servers isn't a career.. just saying. Even if it was, they'll be a lot of P2P servers which people wouldn't want. Now, since RO isn't our lovely career path, when we need to shut down the server because we need to focus on our life, it's for a better reason because what we do in our life will take us towards the career path we want to actually make a living for ourselves, have a family, and, have a life.

Ragnarok Online isn't our career.. so don't get annoyed/pissed because your most wonderful server closed. Probably somewhere out there, there's an even better server.

On another note, this isn't the reason RO's dying. Main reason is that it's an old game, plain and simple, and Renewal is an example of not being able to teach old dogs new tricks. You can't resurrect something this old in an age where people are used to Xbox 360 graphics and thus expect as much in an MMORPG.

Sure, people quit because servers close, but most find new servers continuously until they realize that RO is just old.

I actually never played your server or anything, I just hate people who have people join and end up shutting it down wasting everyones time who worked on their characters.

I'm pretty sure there are more male server owners who have closed down their servers compared to female ones. Just saying (not trying to be sexist, just a statistic).

I agree about disliking servers shutting down on players early on, but if there would be no progress from the staff team, that's what has to be done. Or else, the players would leave based on their own interest since there are no updates applied to the server in the end. Would be a waste of money and players' time even more so if such a server would continue.

Guess the main thing is that server owners should confirm if they have the time to maintain a server for a while/long while before starting a new one (think about it long-term). However, there can be a few unexpected events, but that's only if these occur.

ohhs that sucks :( was looking forward to trying it out XD
i agree with RL over any type of games anyday, its just i've been having more free time lately and feel like getting back into ragnarok XD

i agree with  Myteriouss, should at lest take down your siggy and stuff like that about your server lol

also probably more male server owners. but there is likely truth in this, as womens are more likely to have emotional attachment to their server.

I'm inclined to agree with this guy. if you don't know the first time around, then the first closure should be enough... life experience... to know whether you can handle it the second time around.
most likely, he was a one-man-army GM, overdid it till he hated RO, and quit.

totally. I think its time to quit RO and move on to minecraft

IFeelRO  was Online  for 7 Months untill i decided to Closed Down since the server is not improving and i feel unhappy with the attitude of the community . After 1 month i decided to reopen with new Experimental Rates [High Rate] . But it was unsuccessful , Only have 20-30 Players . So i decided to closed it down for GOOD . And i was promoted on my real life job ,so i need more time and effort .
I hope all of you understand my situation. I love Ragnarok so much .

I don't want to hear more flamings and insult , i already closed my server and i need a break.
