Autoloot is just for the lazy people~

That's like saying any rate above 1x is for lazy people, still.. I get what you mean, maybe it is a little lazy, but I prefer to call it very convenient ^_^;

Well honestly, after mobbing a crap load of venatus in juperos for example, i doubt i'd enjoy sitting there picking up the hordes of drops while being killed by dimiks.
autoloot may be a bit lazy, but its convenient in many places.

just cause i liked it better when u HAD to pick up your items.. even if u were getting pwned  by other mobs it just made hunting all the more challenging =o

I say that it's for lazy people because it makes the difference between people who want to put effort in gathering zeny and people who do not want to do that disappear. In my opinion those people who are willing to make an effort to pick their items up, should be rewarded more than those who do not. With autoloot...this aspect of the game is totally gone.

People who don't want zeny set it to a low value so they don't have to run back to town to sell stuff every 20 minutes.

Autoloot is BAD.
But manually looting items is ANNOYING.

:v Contradiction? No, it just means I'd prefer some middle-point, where players do not instantly get all loot, which lets them just mass murder everything in sight without concerns for the loot, and where they are not forced to go insane by clicking on every single item in the ground while fighting the lag that slows them down xP

Maybe it goes something like this: "This is not the standart autoloot you know, it works a bit differently. When it's activated, and you click on an item to pick up, your character will automatically pick up all items within reach one by one. You can cancel this by trying to walk or attack (or getting hit)."

Something like that, maybe?

Or you could make it so the character takes all items on squares relative from him if you press certain directions on numeric keyboard. 8 - square up, 3 - square down-left, etc.

From a GM point of view,  I cannot live without autoloot being enabled... I remember how many times noobs would loot my drops and stalk me on Aegis servers and official servers,  it was so annoying! lol~   I cannot tell you how many complaints there were... Call @autoloot an anti looter helper.

Alot of games have similar things,  maybe not automatically end up in your inventory... but people cannot pick the items from your monster kills.

And if I recall correctly, there is no "@autolootid" command o.O  You only can loot based on item drop percentages.
