I'm just starting trouble passively there with a few friends (which denies me an outright ban), since some of the community who showed us the corruption were bribed with items too, then banned for having it. xD

I love passive agressive drama, and it's always fun to point out to the Admin that what his friends are doing directly violate all his rules, while I'm just......bending it without breaking.

I rarely leave a corrupted server until I have my fill. I'm not evil like Poki, I'm bored. I'd love to report it here, but I don't have enough proof positive screenshots that provide 100% solid evidence from the guild yet. XD

Well.. this situation is similar to the one i previously had with EroticRO along with a few of my friends. This GM was named GM Lust. She was in dungeons afk hunting with an homunculus. i caught her she banned me after i reported her on the forums and deleted my post before the owner saw it whose name is the same as mine. Well after that she banned my friends.

Well.. We all gave the server a bad rating in rms and directed The owner to take care of it.

She saw the ratings, went berserk, and left the server after stealing all the donation money to keep the server running, and deleting the servers files.

The server went back up a bit later so our ratings were not there i personally gave the server a good review but that didnt help the server much and it finally went down for the count.

I hope this doesnt happen again. but the past is bound to repeat itself sometime in the future.

Let's say you found the perfect server, then all of a sudden a guy drops an item he's not suppose to have while in nightmare pvp. Do you leave, start trouble then leave, or stay because the Admin says he cleaned up "all" illegit items?

Perhaps I'll stay and watch what happens. If the Admin lied about the illegit items then probably expose that then leave. :'D

I would most likely stick around for a few more days to see what happens. If it is dealt with quickly and effectively, then I would most likely stay. If they ignore it, then I will watch how players react. Afterwards, I would leave the server permanently.

Maybe it is bad, but Admin's job is provide balance. It would be extremely noobish to provide godly items to people they favor and not to expect "chaos" (I think).

either way... if the GM's are kids then it's cause of friends and the whole blackmail/bribing or immature stuff and if they're adult, it's cause of cash and not care for the server i guess

if they don't care for the server...then better don't start a server >.>

like i said, they start a server just for cold hard cash and not cause they care or anything

Servers like that kill themselves, really.
... Well, all servers seem to kill themselves lately. (Ha-Ha, suicidal tendencies)
Although it's a nice sign to pick up my characters and run (so perhaps I could save them)

In my opinion, causing chaos is different than offering it in the first place. ;p
The admin giving the dude the illegit items in the first place, is offering and begging for chaos to erupt.
Me, I'd just be giving him/her his/her wish. ;p

Well, I would say corruption occurs out of various reason(s), but the main thing would be...greed?. Sometimes GMs feel they aren't appreciated enough so they lean towards corruption. Maybe, there Admin is corrupted...so they do it too?. If I said I wouldn't stay in a server because its "corrupted" I'd be lying to myself, because corruption mixes with RO like ice cream and choco <3. Human nature =D. Almost all servers a re corrupted in some way.

Its when a server gets too big. Too many GMs. I would Ip Ban my GMs if I found out they were corrupted. But heck, I don't have any =D.

for some reason I'm still around my old server which is slowly getting more and more corrupted, sad thing.
But I am enough used to it and my characters (wasted time mostly)... to just quit.
I'd stay. Maybe not as active as I was before but I'd like to know what happens. Like almost everyone here

mmm i really don't get why people like to stir up trouble, if they find something's corrupt leave it alone, trying to stir up trouble with it just makes you look worse depending on the method's you use....
