Increased range on normal attack since ranger apparently shares daggers and fisting sprite lol maybe its something else . . . for Mercenary//Ranger in particular youll be given a handgun if you have no weapons equipped ... I would have to cleverly hide the pistol under every rifle though lol
Changed the arrow animation to a bullet.... who knew it shared the same spr/act as skeleton archer arrow? Guess it makes sense.

Theres a feature built into the emulator where monsters can use warps.... I like this feature but I hope the path finding will work /ok

- Well idk about that but I said i wanted to give it a single player feel... so that means im not gonna ask you to farm anything too hard as the game takes place over 6 months or so then rewards given out for next season... and accomodate whatever changes I include or whatever... but I can see how defense and pvp game modes would work.... maybe we'll have to instance the fields and make player limits... As long as I enjoy it thats all that really matters ;)
As much as id like to just make it open world, and just keep expanding, and using the international subway anomaly as a way to "out of place" areas... IDK maybe ill fill in the gaps in between citys and town, and keep it fiction but based on real world areas.......

Maybe Ill just have it set up where you gather water... food ... not for yourself... but for your survivors and launching them into orbit with everyone else lol ... and securing valuables.... and locking them in a vault underground for the future...
all these would add to some global statistic that will change the outcome of the end game or something... or perhaps... your final reward
really if i ever put a survival spin on the emulator.. its going to be when i make my re renewal rebalance... I am interested in remaking megaman though... thats it these 3... Street seems fine, no issues with rotating like my city scene, probably gonna go with a single side for the city not sandwiched between sky scrapers .. and like being able to rotate around the blocks... guess itll have to be designed on a block to block basis for that to work... join rathena community and see how theres a million tutorials for hercules and nothing for rathena so naturally i move to hercules and grasp the basics but of course learning about how the client and server interact with each other was new for a giant ape like me ... there is no proof of this anymore though. I made a bunch of different account and role played a bunch of personalities just to make fun of everyone cause i thought they were stupid for not using the source for anything cool... so it must be a reason right so i did everything , reversed engineered every skill then I had this stupid issue where in old clients if you try to add a third job skill to the trans tree it still appears in the third branch in the skill window... ( However I had a request to fix a similar issue, but maybe it was just for newer clients but it turned out to be an inheritance issue... ) Anyways I wasnt too familiar with how you guys did everything so i didnt really know how to clean a client, and how to get one from kro to work properly... all the differs didnt work until i got to know the community and who had these things on hand...anyways i toook a break around this time to go kick some guys donkey in the speed running community and after i finished i came back and showed you how easily you can add star emperor and soul reaper to the skill trees, but i mean ... why would i do it for you when you have all these important people and stuff that look so able on their own... Naturally i assumed you were all lying at this point and started calling people out and stuff.So since i came back I started working on all the map making programs and hanging out with borf in his discord... I was trying to find out why he was so lazy and he taught me a bit, more like Ive observed things from his work in 586 compared to his current code... i figured out that coders were all lying and just using decompiled work and just stealing from each other, and everything they use to write is just pre built tools that everyone else uses ... just using the decompiled data in different ways ....of course by now im cocky as hell posting every day cause i have nothing else to do. . . . I mean iliked all my old projects but the skill set up annoyed me, and i figured no one would be interested in it if i completed it... I gave you all my sprites i made myself but didnt bother keeping my maps cause it was pointless to keep since were all lazy... I did make like 7 sprites for it, kinda surprising i was doing spriting but i was dead set on it
prontera was gonna have 2 maps to it, but as you walk around the ruined prontera, you could use the mirror thing to flip dimensions and the other dimension of prontera would maybe have another route you could walk on, and oh another dead end, use the mirror again and flip dimensions and keep walking around
.... what else did i do for that. . . simple ai stuff... controling monsters . . no thats about it really i broke my src by accident >_< but ive managed to do it all bug free (hopefully)
Sadly theres a few dumb things I dont have control over, but most things will be fine in the dot hack world. But luckily, I know which things i do have power over. Still have to do some client hexing crap... but thats not really a big deal atm

so my problem was the direction the sun lights in... how walls are affected but luckily i didnt overexagerate anything and was building on an angle already so i can play it off
i just dont wanna waste any time on the wrong sprites.... i could just import every gravity mob with re colors and itd still be good
these monsters take time without being extremely obvious and symbolic

alright next up is weapon animations, ive prepared my stances while doing the dishes today, and will be reusing the old ranger one i did with two hands out where i can stick a pistol in one or replace it with a two handed
and of course a melee weapon, wasnt sure if i wanted an over hand or horizontal swing for the mercenary class....
Unfortunately Im not sure how to edit the animation slots.. so it will remain class based until i do figure it out...(probably not so thats why ill just keep working)

Soooo I made my nano bots skill, i could make it spawn more at once, i was thinking 3 nano bots to counter tobis 4 spawns....
I can separate the attack targets using custom ai
but custom conditions... im still working on it. I got it in game but no luck so far.
The idea is to be able to deploy 3 to counter the smaller insects
And be able to make them self destruct when you point at a target... i COULD write it an easier way but i have the time ATM to work on my custom AI stuff

Alright well ill probably be chillen out for the next few days since im not particularly worried about anything ...
I put together my locomotive tree a bit adding over 20 animations from different speeds to jumping and running and a bunch of other cool stuff
after playing with the movement capabilities of the default engine last night for a few hours.. its not bad... nothing i really have to do... besides . . .
I will probably set up parkour and ledge collision over the next few days.. gonna have to watch some videos cause im potato man

Alright so things going good right , building data as we speak smoothing it all out
Dealt with some knots, but i got hundreds of zombies spawning in 0 lag 40-60 FPS with FULLY carved out buildings that look dope as hell
Thing is i can save some peformance at the cost of size... apprently a fully coded scene isnt the best approach due to some limitations... kinda stupid but nothing i can do about it...
Also having trouble posting videos and gifs rn on this internet... my map map is about 60MB's not sure how the game will turn out when packed up and ready for play
sooooooooooo next up i can go a few different ways and kinda just chillen thinking about it :
1) More textures / Dirt / Torn up / just making the map look good ( trust me this looks dope )
2) Doors ( was leaning on this after my character was done? )
3) Finish up the current block / section ( Im like half done this section but I wanted to detail them and walk through them and change things making them perfect )
4) need and translucent material ( lol )
Generally speaking they all kinda just fall under 3
But i got a bunch of sound effects and things i wanna get working
I dont even have my characters or guns ready just some pissed out models that were just made for filler

Anyways this Vampire Bloodlines the Masquerade... this game has some of the most beautiful girls ever and if youve ever played through it you wonder whats up with the deformed model that have placed somewhere? Why the hell isnt she like the others I will never know... neither can i find a picture to show you....

by the end of the night i hope i finish my animations but few problems will deal with eventually since sorta unique problems to the weapon types

Arm sway... I mean I kinda walk with my opposite arm swinging forward a bit but every single animation makes it look robotic

Ive been trying to make these footsteps look really good and think i got the "Process/Workflow" down for animating except........
Still havnt really gotten into root motion ... Ive DONE IT but dont know how it works because whenever i play with the dopesheet it just breaks lol
anyways past 2 weeks have been a bit slow but I think i played about 600 ranked overwatch games and all my champions are ranked S within 1-20% percentile in skill charts
. . . I did managed to make these really nice animations between queue times though

Had to take a little break from my game to settle some business with pokemon arceus legends, its been driving me nuts but we went and ripped everything we could just so id be quiet
so i ripped every pokemon 1-725 ish and it took 2 days straight
I wrote a journal
#201 28 unknown, 2 punctuations but they all share the same texture so its all good just grabbed the mesh
#369 Relicanth, looks like his body pattern is similar to that of pangea, look closely it sorta grew out from the center
#493 Arceus, this guy has 30 forms lol
#555 ma boi darmantian ive used this guy so many times but never his zen form
had to go make sure the skeletons were usuable and uvs were fine...
treading into unknown waters now...
#597 checked the pokemon count and were only 150 more pokemon away from the end
#638 ...less then 100 pokemon left , running out of music to listen to
#649 genesect... has.. no idea...how..many..forms..zzz...
#650.. them ###'s started at 720 in the data dump but we should be at 650, kinda makes things annoying but will spare you
#710 ........ive never seen these pokemon before but better grab them
#720... this dog has 40 forms or something but that seems to be the end of it thank god its over

x and y only added 50 new pokemon
so i have to decrypt and dump everything again to ensure i got the horror pokemon which are weirdly placed near the very end
such pain but a job well done

As for my game i need to finish the models up, and then organize them a bit, maybe rename some folders and i procrastinate to the end
