How exactly do you install private servers now? Do you have to download Sakray at all any more? Do you just need Renewal/KRO? (obviously, you need a server too.) Been gone for a year or so from the game and I'm confused.

yes it's confusing, some servers require kRO/SAK others already jumped on renewal clients.

so in the end, it depends on which pserver you're trying to play.. if you're really itchy about what client to download, i'd recommend renewal client as that data.grf contains everything you need. And if the server happens to be kRO/Sak, rename data.grf to sdata.grf (hint check the .ini file)
