We are recruiting individuals who are passionate, fair, and who are knowledgeable of Ragnarok Online, its mechanics, and private servers in general. The goal: to join servers and review them as to grade their potential (at that point in time) for others to view, and as to help the administrators improve the first impression and accessibility of their client, information, and features in general.
We offer critique, suggestions, and overall just a new perception of the server in question for players and administrators to review and consider.
Accepted applicants are expected to write one review a month (500+ words; min. 1h in-game experience), preferably with video/audio components of 15-30min (not mandatory).
Application Rubric
You must include the following information in your application:
- Your name
- Your age
- Your MSN/Skype
- Your timezone
- Your rates of choice
- Your years of experience as a player
- List of servers played in the past
- Why do you wish to acquire a volunteer position as a reviewer at FIRST?
- What qualities or talents can you offer our existing team? i.e. other languages, experience
- When you're looking for a "good" server, what characteristics / features do you want in particular?
This will help with your Staff Biography should you be accepted.
1) Applications are to be submitted in English, as to be understood by the current FIRST staff.
2) There are no age limits to qualify for a position; however, you are expected to have at least six months playing experience in the server type of choice (LR, MR, HR, SHR).
3) All positions are voluntary and thus non-paid.
4) Positions are open to individuals who currently do not possess a staff position on a Ragnarok server with the same rates as those of which the individual is applying to review.
i.e. If you play an MR, you cannot apply to review MR servers, as your opinions may be biased / skewed due to comparison or simply to bring your currently-playing server into a better position.
5) You must have acceptable writing skills in order to qualify. We only accept quality reviews; this means, good punctuation and sentence structure, great grammar, etc. We aren't Nazis about this; however, you should be able to write properly. No slang. No "chat" language.
6) If approved, you must consent to applying for and sharing your MSN or Skype address. We do not approve of AIM, ICQ, YIM, etc.
7) If approved, you must also consent to the staff guidelines (which will follow the hiring process).
8) All applications which do not comply with these guidelines will be ignored.
9) You are expected to write one review a month (500+ words; min. 1h in-game experience), preferably with video/audio components of 15-30min (not mandatory).
Reviews Are Graded Under the Following System:
- Website Grade /10
- Patcher & Screens Grade /10
- Forums Grade /10
- Donations & V4P Grade /10
- Community Grade /10
- Administration Grade /10
- Stability Grade /10
- Feature Grade /10
- Guild Competition Grade /10
- Economy Grade /10
- Final Score (/100) & Critiques / Remarks
So before applying, make sure you know how to properly rate and describe these different categories.

Thank you!
Concept yC-approved :D <3
Skype is safe to use; it might have been something unrelated, or a download of Skype through a non-official website (by accident, perhaps?) that is alerting your Anti-Virus of a trojan or infection. Maybe a KeyGen or something similar?
I've noticed that Skype and MSN are thoroughly integrated now, but by registering at hotmail.com for an e-mail, you can still use MSN messenger through the mail function on the left-hand side. Otherwise, there are mirror downloads on third party sites, or websites like ebuddy which can still connect to the host and function as an IM properly.
Otherwise, I am on Facebook, but that's a last-resort deal.
Wasn't sure if male or female, due to RMS saying you're male, but FIRST's profile says female /derp
Worst comes to worst, FB.
I made a guild emblem design for FIRST!! Now we just need someone that can make it into an emblem while still keeping the design.
