Hello, my name is Cookie. You may be curious as to why I'm pursuing a position on a server. Well, for starters, I lead DivinityRO successfully and surpassed all Mid Rates in a period of 2 months marking my spot as #1 Mid Rate on Rate My Server. Unfortunately, the server was forced to shut down due to Denial-Of-Service attacks that were worthy of straining a large core network and ranged from 7gbit+.

I am spontaneous. I'm not too picky about which position I fulfill, the kind of access/privileges I have, et cetera. I will mention that I am not looking to make friends or engage in silly cyber drama. Therefore, my pursuit of a position is generally to continue to develop my skill-set.

What do I want in a server I work for? Quite frankly, I don't care if your server has 10 players online or hundreds. Rome wasn't built in a day nor was my past servers. I like smaller servers because they're manageable projects we can build upon and erase the s*** before it grows. On the flip side, a larger server is nice due to the amount of player feedback that is at the staff's disposal. If you're shady, illiterate or absolutely annoying... I will gladly let you know. There is no need to try and "impress" me, just be honest and up-front.

Professional Experience
I am 21 years old. At 19 years old, I was the Senior VP of Engineering for an Information Technology company that provided services for South Texas. At 21 years old, I got the opportunity to work for a healthcare software company as a Director of Development. I've held numerous corporate roles in large companies. With that, I have extensive development knowledge in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and other languages. I have self-taught myself all languages and have no prior education experience. I've been developing since my pre-teenage years.

Ragnarok Experience
DivinityRO

• Owner of, administrated, developed and spearheaded the #1 Mid Rate, Q1 2012, on Rate My Server.
• Created and developed heavily customized scripts.
• Implemented client side modifications including (but not excluding): maps, items, classes, mobs, custom sprites, et cetera.
• Created an Outlook Exchange Server and a system for DivinityRO staff that revolved around an Exchange Calendar to organize day-to-day operations and activities.
• Executed a master-planned staff team and hierarchy that revolved around United States Human Resources Regulations and Rules generally used in a corporate scheme.

Miscellaneous Past History & Information
I've worked for many servers under several names including Funsized, SkinnyBoy, et cetera. I am on the lovely Hall of Shame from my teenage years. On DivinityRO (I was 21 and much more mature), I proved that I wasn't corrupt and was a not-so-typical Administrator. I created methods that all servers should accustom themselves to which included: not giving a damn about what players say (this is the internet, we're not Dr. Phil), NO tolerance for staff ever debating or fighting with players (we were strict, I fired about 20+ GMs in my time on DivRO via voice in TeamSpeak), et cetera. I've worked for other Administrators in the past - servers including LuminaRO, DiviniaRO and others. I've ran many failed servers. All in all, DivinityRO was the most noteworthy. It was created at an age where I was much more mature and didn't care about the game. That lead to myself not being corrupt and actually giving a damn about the server/what really matters. I invested a few thousand dollars into DivinityRO and it was my money.

• 8 years of MySQL, Microsoft SQL and other database experience
• 7 years of Photoshop experience
• 5 years of eAthena NPC scripting experience, RO client side experience (LUA files, manipulating, hexing, et cetera)
• 1 year of C#, C & C++ experience (currently being developed upon)

Yes, I've been programming for a very long time yC. At a young age, I started to self teach myself to program. Hence all of the Flux modifications I've made and heavy changes to the source. As mentioned, I'll gladly prove the skills. ^^

I have personally worked closely with Cookie and I can say: No, you should not be worried.
He is more than knowledgeable and passionate when it comes to scripting.
Everyone does stupid things in their past, it's time to just forget about it and move on.
He's already warned people about it and addressed it.
You should just look past that and worry about his skills rather than what he did a few years ago.

In management and scripting, Cookie is a good choice overall.

The only thing you should be worried about is how many people will avoid your server simply because Cookie exists there as a staff member. Before dRO closed, a lot of people / guilds voiced that they were going to avoid Cookie altogether, and that can leave a dent in your potential population later, should they find out. There was also talk about DDOSing, and with how many people who were pissed off at dRO's abrupt closing...

Not to say anything would happen, but there are positives (knowledge) and negatives (history + players avoiding Cookie) that are to be taken into account.
