I'll start off with my name,

Hi, I'm Admin Seona from DCRO.
I was on one of my characters, when I had a player PM me, advertising a different server.
Once I saw this I hoped on my Admin account right away and jailed him/her so I could accuse him/her Of what they had done.
Once Banned they then hopped on a different character and I noticed right away, and jailed him/her again.
They then Declined the accusations and once I said I was the one they messaged on another character they quickly logged out and made a new account/character.
Then they flooded our main town with the advertising once again.
We immediately IP banned him/her.

I can concur with the events which occurred in the dead center of Prontera ~1 hour ago. I first caught wind of the occurrance when both a GM (on her player account) and a regular player PM'd me, complaining about someone advertising. Having been given the proper proof over MSN, I proceeded to ban the player via the CP. Unfortunately, as the CP functions a bit slowly, this player had time to feign ignorance to Seona while sitting in jail. Upon the account's ban going through, the player immediately created another account. However, rather than silently PMing players (likely due to the realization that the GM team knew what he/she was up) they proceeded to flood the streets of Prontera with advertisement messages. Fortunately, Administrator Toxic IP banned them shortly thereafter.

As you can see, Seona has already posted the necessary information to ensure that this low-life doesn't do the same to your server, but I would like to give my two cents to the Server Administrator, in the event that they come across this thread:

I am not the type to jump to conclusions. Very often, I try to be a lenient man. I understand that there is a chance that you did not put this player to the task of spamming advertisements in our central town of commerce, and putting our loyal players at unease. However, I feel that you should be held accountable for what your over-ambitious players - or perhaps your staff (there was mention from this player that they were a GM at your server) happens to do on other servers. And if you have ANY dignity, you will hold them accountable. If you refuse to heed my words, then I can only hope that RMS will show no mercy in judging your server.

This type of server owner needs to learn some ethics and yes there are now bans in place. This Spiel person even tried something as outrageously stupid as to use the rank of Admin when he tired to register on our private forum. I saw that while tracking his IP. When that one did not work he tried something even cuter by adding his server name [IN BRACKETS], to his user name. Here I want to thank Admin Seona and Deputy Head GM Vol-Opt for having our back where cretins like this are concerned.

As an Admin of DCRO, I recently had the pleasure of talking to their fellow Admin, From what a long talk felt like, This was merely an understanding between both parties. An advert came along and claimed false news as he advertised, And his IP was completely different from the owner of asaRO. I don't intend to stick to one particular side, But i feel it was the Admin's job to make note of it in a rule that players are not supposed to advert the server in any unfair means. As for the admin who hopped over on our server to clarify this, He was gestured by me and my fellow staff to have a word with my boss through means of PM. I feel this was an action taken quickly, Yes a job well done, But also a job incomplete due to both server owners consent not taken into this. I have compared IP's of the owner and player that was IP banned, They do not match. Hence I would conclude saying the final word being said, after both owners have actually had contact with one another.

I am the owner of asaRO. im bit shaken by the message from my forum's chatbox done by some person (whoever that person may be). I hadn't been notified as the report thread was made to let me know of the false advert. I want to clarify that Im not tolerating all people (staff & players) coming from my server to advertise in other servers. I dont want them to do such things. I dont know who that person was. That person is trying to destroy my good reputation. I traced all the IP's of my players and its location. But none came from the range of IP given by Flipsyde.  I traced that IP for its location and the results came from Taguig, Pasig, Pateros, Philippines. I dont have players on that area. That IP range are now blocked. This issue has been settled and closed.

I have a similar IP listed above and it is registered to the one called Spiel... This is what an IP trace gave me when "ADMIN" Spiel tried to first register his account to get on my forum. He then tried the name Spiel[asaRO], which I altered. Note the 180??? Same region as what Gorthex has listed. The same region. Someone here is full of s*** and I think that I will have my business partner list this asaRO on the Top 100 Corrupt/Bad Server list we are now running publicly. Someone needs to check the SPAMMER's IP and match it to Admin Douchebag's.

You're judging me too fast Cyric. In the first place, I'm not making s*** to you and to your server. Why are you doing this to me? Im very serious in clarifying this things to clear my name. If you found match in IP's, its because we're in the same country, not in the same location. Most of ISP's here were using same IP range. Remember you are the one saying bad things in me and to my server. I have read all those messages in my chatbox. I stayed calm. Coz im not guilty of this things. I didnt made any mistakes. First step i made is to go to your server to explain,clarify and settle things. I found Admin Zodiac and told him everything. I leave him my YM for us to talk. But there's no signs of you.  On the second day, I visited RMS and I was shock from replies coming from you. So i decided to login again in your server with the same purpose and i found Admin Flipsyde. Again I explained everything to him and Im very thankful to him for listening to my side. You're making a fuss with this issue.

why should i make an apology for the act that i haven't done? on the first place i have not authorized any person to advertise on the server mentioned.. im just defending my self as well as my server from the said issue..i have already spent hundreds of dollars just to run my server and not to advertise it to other servers.. I have spent half of salary for the server hosting instead of giving it to my wife for food. 1 usd = 43 Php. That's a big money already. Instead of saving that money for food or education of my son, all i did is to run a ragnarok server. All you're doing right now is destroying me, not my server. It hurts me so much.

Maybe hurting other people makes you happy. May the Almighty God Bless you for that.

As i've said. half of my salary went to ragnarok hosting. I didnt say im not giving any to my wife.  I have not authorized any person to advertise on the server mentioned. I don't need to advertise my server on other people's server. I am patiently waiting from other players to join. All my staffs and players are playing in my net shop. I don't have GM's outside my area. I do monitored all their actions because they are here in my jurisdiction. Im satisfied for what i have. I don't care if i have a small community. I'm not shy if people may know that most of my players came from my net shop. Im happy with it. Those people made my shop & RO server alive. They are satisfied playing in my server. I'm just reacting to the issue because those people who reported us is trying to destroy us that's a big deal for me.

Why people are  blaming us? We're not doing anything?  I already explained and clarified  everything to them especially to their admins. I didn't ignore this issue.

I did my investigation also. That person who advertised our server on other server was not related to us. He/She was IP blocked if ever He/She attempts to enter our server. Maybe that person is trying to destroy us also.

It's not fair of judging people without due process. Please analyze the issue before making a comment. This issue is solved.

May I request the attention of the moderators of this forum to close/lock this topic in order not to make this issue big.

Then I found other topics mentioning the exact same thing.

People REALLY have more to do I am sure than advertise a server they do not play on.

Why is everybody being so shallow on this matter, I don't know if you realize , No one hosts up an RO server for free, If you do, Your either crazy rich or finding ways to make yourself bankrupt, Because everyone knows running a server costs MONEY, Maybe if a few negative comments here ACTUALLY stepped out and breathe fresh air or sought some work? They would know it. I've run my own txt server too not long ago, and I never got too far because of the pre-reqs needed just so people would play in peace and not bicker about overseas lag.

I say this as a person of the RMS community and not as an admin of the server I play on, What spiel means is that, He, Like everyone else INVESTS money into an RO server hoping that after all the work that's been done, he may be able to make a good income of the donations that roll in, What he means by he could have invested it on his son or such would mean that he wouldn't waste money on his investment if he wanted to f*** up his server. Donations being his alternate source of income, Like every other 500+ server made out there, Jesus.

I am the one who made steps for talks even I did not do anything bad. You people are insisting that i am that person who did something bad to the server. Did I do anything bad when i logged to your server? All I did is to ask some people online where could I contact the owner of the server because i cant access your forum. This is a big deal for me because you keep on destroying me. Running an RO Server's not free. I invested too much for the hosting. United States economy is different from the Philippines, That's why its very expensive to pay for the hosting.
