MysticRO's ridiculous rollbacks

So originally, this post was for the MysticRO's forums but they deleted it and they didn't even reply to it. I just want to bring this to attention.This is the link for it but it was deleted, but fortunately, I saved a copy.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the fact that this server had to roll back - and not to mention that all we hear are lies.

So, the server rolled-back eh? During the first recent rollback, you guys said that YOU ROLLED IT BACK 11 DAYS because data wasn't backed up. This second rollback is MUCH MORE LAUGHABLE. Because you guys rolled back exactly before you started the first fix. Get it?



And not to mention IT VOIDS ALL THINGS THAT HAPPENED DURING YOUR X2 COMPENSATION.



Well, since I am an avid WoE player, maybe that's passable? Maybe that's OKAY because we got an anti-hack. Sleek. Very great. BUT this is some DAMN EPIC FAIL In fact, IT DOESN'T GET RID OF THE CHEATERS. I don't really care whether people I fight are WPE users, BOTTERS, or the whatever else there is because there's always a way around them. WHAT I HATE FIGHTING AGAINST IS CHEATERS INSIDE YOUR SYSTEM. The very reason why MysticRO should be renamed RollbackRO instead.



I will list all stuff that I have found out during my... ermm... 5 months fighting in WoE? Much more nerfs happened and MOST OF THEM were unknown to most people.



1) Howling of Mandragora tweaked to 10 seconds rollback. WAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Okay, I check iRO-wiki all the time, and IT DOESN'T STATE A 10 SECOND DELAY. Well, lots of argument had gone on about this until our owner here said HE DID A RECOMPILE AND IT CAME NERFED AUTOMATICALLY. Someone tweaked the script without us knowing. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE! Was there an official announcement? Nah.



2) I'd like to include melee resistance on the list. BECAUSE THERE WAS NO OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT WHICH PART OF THE MELEE RESISTANCE SET WAS REMOVED.



3) There was this one time that THE HOLDING TIME FOR TRAPS WAS REDUCED IN FAVOR OF SOME PLAYERS. Because we relied on TRAPS. AND NO ANNOUNCEMENT WAS MADE REGARDING THAT.



4) In a span of ONE WEEK. Valkyrie YINYANG SHOES SWITCHED ATTRIBUTE TO GHOST INSTEAD IN FAVOR OF SOME PLAYERS. ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO WEAR DARK HELMS. Like your favorite gummy friends.



As you can see SCRIPTS GET DESTROYED OR CHANGED WITHOUT US KNOWING. AND NOW THE ROLLBACK. OOOH, THE ROLLBACK. EVEN IF YOU INSTALL YOUR ANTICHEATING SOFTWARE, you probably WON'T STOP YOUR GUMMY FRIENDS FROM TWEAKING THE SCRIPTS. MAYBE THE ROLLBACK HAPPENED BECAUSE OF THESE CHEATERS.  I find it ironic that besides us, even other players were also belittled by these "PRO" players who rely on script changes, while calling themselves having some "HIGHER KNOWLEDGE". BULL! Nah, I won't name names. And WE DON'T REALLY CARE BECAUSE ALL OF US ARE GOING TO QUIT. Sayonara, mRO and may you guys rot in the hell of rollbacks forever.



And please, PLEASE. Rename your game to RollbackRO instead.

They never even addressed the issues they just deleted everything just like the continuous rollbacks and the endless unannounced tweaking of scripts.

I too am a player for mysticRO...

First of all, all servers have technical difficulties at some point or another. The admins tried to install new programs in order to ensure a more enjoyable game-play but it caused a necessary roll-back. <-- They even installed Harmony with this recent update so nobody can use WPE or bots anymore.

Secondly, they don't get their patches from iRO or whatever...They get them from 3ceam updates and such which include all different sorts of 3rd class skill edits.

Howling of mandragora was even being abused by spammers who made it impossible for anybody to use skills or even move correctly. <-- It was a good update -.-

The holding time for traps was never modded, they don't even mod skills in the SRC because of errors we've had before.

The ying-yang shoes were supposed to be ghost attribute but the admin who was fired made the script wrong by adding both Ghost and Undead elements, it was supposed to be ghost but it didn't. They just fixed it.

The rollbacks happened because when they installed Harmony and the new 3ceam updates, it corrupted our database and everything was deleted. The players are lucky the admins had a backup of EVERYTHING in march.


If you don't care, stop complaining and let us enjoy our server that everybody is working hard for.

Yeah you deleted the part where you were saying how much the server sucked, that may be why it was deleted.

It was rolled back to the first of March, the other one happened in Feb. and was rolled back 11 days (Feb)  So, it was quite obviously after.  I get confused sometimes too, so its ok.

Personally I don't mind putting up with a bit of a loss to my account if it means people who bot and use wpe/rpe are no longer able to cheat.  If you like fighting against them, then the new mRO isn't for you.

As stated above, they get their skill updates from 3ceam, actually they just implemented more from 3ceam with the Harmony update... More skills are 'nerfed' and there are different skill delays.  Example, you can only use 1 thorn trap at a time instead of unlimited.

It wasn't removed the script for that item was corrected and implemented to reflect its original intent which was 15% long range attack def.  As it was players were able to combine it with other equips and get 100% close range attack defense.  That's not very balanced

Eh, no it wasn't you're extremely wrong about this one.  It was never modded.

Again fail scripting from former staff.  You cannot give a weapon 2 attributes, it was scripted to give both ghost and undead.  The staff chose to give it ghost.

See ya around... but its really funny how you accuse everyone (other than your guild) of cheating but as soon as they add something that disallows the use of wpe/rpe you guys decide to leave.  Ironic.

I am the owner/admin of MysticRO. I did have a roll back this week due to a problem backing up the files I had. I thought I excuted the back up before updating the files but it didn't finalize and I lost the data! Yeah ok, you can blame me for that but for the rest of this non sense on here, the two replies nailed it perfect.

We do not change stuff with out just for one person or a guild! For one, that guild you are talking about is one hell of a guild in WOE, PVP, and GVG and you all hate it! They know their stuff about builds, customs, and stacking of cards! I have sat there( at hide with them not knowing because of complaints on them) and they discuss their builds with their fellow guild mates! So, to sum that up, you all are butt hurt because they are so good at what they play!

We did have double attributes on a few customs and we removed the one that was second listed in script because that is how we felt they original scripter wanted it. It was not because someone said it is bugged or they said it needs this. We are as professional as you can get. Please feel free to ask any admin or gm on here about how they get their items on their GM/ADMIN char. They will tell you they have to earn them through quests just like everyone else! They do get an item a week to show off to the server but its not theirs! So, please stop flaming the Admin team about corrupted and cheaters because they are far from it! They work here for free and try to do their best in making MRO fun and peaceful but players like you that play for FREE also complain like you pay for this!

To sum this up, if you do not like what happen or feel like we are cheats, hackers, worthless, or even unfair then MRO is not the place for you. We bought Harmony to stop the hacks, bots, wpe, and openkore players! So far it has showed alot of you whinning and complaining of this roll back and the new setup!  Good luck with finding another server you enjoy and please stop flaming us!

Ok, I would like to start by saying, hello. Second thing is, you talk like you actually own and know how the server runs. O.o I am from MysticRO, also known as todeki. Yes the server had a few rollbacks, but if you check how the server is growing, the rate is much more greater than it was before. Posting lies about other servers is a big sign of you being childish and jealous. Please do not hate on our server because were doing much more better than yours or if you just got pwnt in woe or pvp and had a rage quit. Your making yourself look really dumb. The server is constantly growing in both players and customs. If your really not fit to pvp or woe just give up, don't go around posting lies about another servers you got a butt wooping from. This server is full of wonderful staff and friendly community. I see since the server owner shut you up, you havnt been able to say anything back, and since I'm the type that doesn't like criticism I just had to reply. Now good day to your sir
