ok then what do you suppose we do if it keeps happening? we have to stop s*** like this now or it wont ever stop. and that means it will happen to you as well.
Enough of us have been around long enough to know better. You're not the first person this has ever happened to, nor will you be the last.

I sincerely hope someone finds out where you live and reports your actions in this thread to local law enforcement.  If you made these kinds of threats IRL, you wouldn't be seeing the light outside of a jail cell for years.

I 110% Agree with this

Take it to court. You will lose badly.

A donation has no counter value. The idea is the owners can give you a free gift, they are not obliged to.

Internet "crimes" that happens in games or internet aren't taken seriously by the authorities, as they think it's but a playground filled with a bunch of people from all over. The only thing they consider a crime are "Internet Death Threats" that are actually serious, as this can involve traumas, major disturbances and not to mention real-life stalkers lurking around.

"No one's slitting anyone's throat."

Threatening anyone here won't get your money back, only a bunch of reality slap that you're making a fool of yourself.

As for this, Taking in all what the others have said, and just the post above me, Donations are pretty much what it means. "To give as a charity", "To help contribute" or words in accordance to that. Meaning, as much as possible, "don't expect anything back in return but gratitude". Nowadays players of RO classifies "donations" as "buying stuff that shall benefit me", knowing it's their real-life money at stake at something that isn't 100% stabilized. So whatever happens to the server, or donations, you really can't do anything about it. Refunding your money won't even work, unless the person really feels guilt and undeserving of the charity.

He didn't steal your money, you gave it to them. If you value your real life money more than something that's in-game, good. Otherwise, expect this to happen again, or to anyone who knows the danger of donating.

We can't host a trial here and we are definitely not a small claim court.  Sorry since the OP dragged the focus of the topic away already, I'll have to declare this is the end of discussion.  Good luck in getting back the money, we can only provide idea to help as far as this.

Please keep in mind when money is spent on virtual entities, you should expect that there is always a risk that the entity will disappear and you cannot control it.
