Iam in support many of the server they open server get the donation and then they close the server its better that rms makes a list of server with their name of server owners and promoters on rms with the reason may fled or out of fund or rms can come out with some mechanism to help out this distress players and on topic i dont think so RMS can help in any retriving the money but can help and make aware of this problem to many users

I can't believe this topic is still going. You gave your money to the owner of this server, you chose yourself to, now you say he's running off with it? No. This could have happened to anyone else. You donate, and the server dies. Oh well. Move on.

No. RMS wasn't made to judge "bad" servers-- everyone has a different point of view. For the guy who made this topic, Ryan J. Washington is a scammer. For me, he's just another RO admin.

Some people enjoy servers where everything revolves around donations, some don't. It's up to the player, not RMS. If Ryan really is that kind of person, then too bad. He's not being corrupt in a way we should care; like Chacola said, donating to a server is a gamble. Any admin (including you) could do that, many already have.

@Topic: After reading through the ToS, I have to say that tazbamskeet is kinda right. He has the right to claim his money back.

also if ryan was a good gm he would have refunded me because the server was being shut down. the server doesnt just shut down on its own someone has to do it. i propose a new rule that rms should take up. that no server using rms can say money payments for credits are donations or use donation altogether. it would stop the s*** that people like ryan are doing.

false advertisment gets a lot more than what your probably putting it as. and the terms and conditions of zaypay, the payment method i used, reject the terms and conditions of ryans donations and puts in their own. if you look at an older post you will see the link to the terms and conditions of zaypay and it will show you what section im referring to.

Yes, yes I've read your previous post. We've all read your previous post. Just go ahead and get a Lawyer and when you get done with your case, you can come back and post the verdict of the case if your so intent on a lawsuit. I'm sure a Lawyer will advise against it unless there is more of a net gain to it.
In the meantime, you should call Zaypay explain your story and there's a large chance that they can fulfill your refund if you can prove that you got nothing, but again, it's a donation.

and again what do you get out of donating to anything? nothing... unless its some t-shirt thats expendable or something like a button that you pin up on your shirt.

any amount you donated to an ro you get something out of it but if you donate say to a church or fund raiser you have to donate a certain amount to get the t-shirt.

also the term "donation" meaning it should be used to help or make better of the thing you give money for. i "donated" to make the server better but instead ryan had to be an a****** and shut down the server. so that would mean it wasnt a donation if the money wasnt used for its intended service.
