I got nothing from writing a Review on RMS btw. And neither did i do it to get something, but to help the server.

People are joining oRO (hurray), with 7 pages of hate and counting. Make it to 10 guys, and bring up the same sh*t over and over again which have already been replied to just different wording~~ Example~~ Elias is bias/ Elias favours donators/ Elias wants BR to win only/ Elias gives items to those who review/ Elias is a mean~

Every page, the same stuff which has been replied. What is happening now is they stop going for the subject at hand when it's been replied and they aim for a persons credibility. It happens in most arguments people. Example "oranges are better, apples are better, well he is a liar and oranges are better" Assassinating someone's character which has nothing to do with the subject just to make yourself look more credible. Just look at the people who are defending oRO, they are actually tackling the issues and those against oRO are just attacking the individuals, not defending their own points.

Whether you like it or not, oRO is number 1 or 2 on most rankings. People want to join? HA please ofc they are. Plus really doesn't matter if people join or not, it's about how many stay. 1000 could join and it wouldn't be worth a damn if they all left. Thing is though, apart from the same names spamming this topic, everyone else rather enjoys oRO and our Admin. There is no way we would have so many new players and veterans on the server hitting 200+ people on woe day's (most individuals). So please, get all this hate out of your system. We tried tackling the issues at hand and everyone here just brushed them off because they aren't willing to change their possibly flawed point of view thanks to some friends getting banned. That's all it is. Mean while you continue typing, I'm going to continue levelling~~

@rewards: Are you guys sure about that? I got a topic where the staff gave rewards to beta players. They gave items like bubble gums but one thing is about reviewing, another is about testing.

Do you think that posting a facebook comment/ picture  in which you are not involve (as friend or part of the group) is tolerable? Don't you know that the thing you've done is similar to wire tapping / stalking? Regardless of the issues we are talking in our conversations... you don't have the right to post it publicly . That actually depends on country law, action made and [sometimes] even the judge in charge because most of the countries have laws that don't clarify what is made at Facebook/Internet [yep, doesn't matter if it's an open or closed group]. Portugal already got some people fired from comments on a closed facebook group for asking the masses to revolt against the patronage, for example [yep, silly when we have laws that +/- conclude that we've freedom of speech except if it affects the President's person directly].

OriginalRO is a good server? Lol... I haven't seen what I consider a great server in a long time. The scale of rating a server in this community is seriously flawed. oRO probably has zero redeeming qualities and from what I gather has the typical private server lackluster, terribad administration that has puked a bunch of incoherent scripts into the server and deems a bug fix realizing global variables are the reason their "DEM BANK NPC NOT WORKZ". Girl, bye.

Elias already made himself look unfit to manage a community/server; hell, I wouldn't even allow him to monitor dust.

On a more serious note, I wish people would stop copying content (especially rules and such). Could you not muster up the few brain cells it takes to write a few sentences?

I also agree with Triper. Plus, none of you are the token RMS legal eagle and just because you can use Google doesn't mean today you're qualified to be an attorney and make legal threats. Please, please, please... just stop while you're at it because we've had hundreds of threads de-rail into a legal discussion that is completely wrong on so many levels.

if ORO is a good or not good server is COMPLETELY subjective. You dont find it good? Ok cool. Im sure you have your reasons. But these exact reasons might be actually attractive for other players. If a server is barebones, does it make it bad? I dont think so. I think its up to the community as a whole to decide if a server is bad or not. Do we have plenty of players on oRO? Yes, we do!

The point is, once the owner of the server become a complete a****** and acts unprofessionally the rest will follow. There is no denying the fact that this server is being managed horribly by the owner with temper tantrum issues. Not gaining new players will be the death of this server, because as a newbie why would I even bother tbh... and don't give me this BS that it is subjective... no it is common sense easy as 1 2 3 no one will play a server with horrible admin! Time will only tell.

@tripper yes the reward thing to write a review in RMS is true, friends and I got cash points upon writing a review which we didn't know back then that it violate the terms and agreement which will result to de-listing of the server to RMS. There is this one guy who warned Elias in the server's forum-shoutbox that he should stop giving rewards for review because it is against RMS' rules. This "might be" why the server gained tons of reviews in just a small matter of time.

Alcohol said something about this on the first thread:

That's also the time when he asked for suggestions on what items to put on the donation shop also in exchange of credits provided that he agrees to it. Nvm, you'll deny this anway. By RMS' standards, paying players for review is illegal. I actually PMed him regarding that but I got no reply from him after that. Unfortunately, I can't access my forum ID (Whisky) anymore so I can't dig up my PM and provide a screenshot. Resetting my password didn't help too. I had high hopes on the server by that time and that was so stupid of me. Deny it all you want but maybe some other players remembered that. If I only SSed his chat that instance, that server could have been delisted on RMS.

Too bad we haven't got a screenshot of it that's why we didn't pursue this on our first thread....regardless of everything I support the dude who said that admin exchange cash points for review.

Anyway, an Administration like OriginalRO's will only help destroy the server with due time. If your staff sucks, the server is bound to suffer. Quite frankly, there isn't really any redeeming qualities about the server outside of a few oRO thumpers that are die-hard players. Just about every server has a loyal player-base up until the Administration takes a dump on them and even then people still defend their actions.

Technically there is this topic about beta testers rewards so I decided to digg the shoutbox archives until that time but found out that it only goes until September so I started reading it for some pages until I found out that.

1 - Our server has been suspended from Ratemyserver nevertheless we can sign up in two weeks.


2 - OriginalRO is still appearing on the payed banners on Ratemyserver's low rates section.

3 - OriginalRO is still listed on all the TOPs and we have excellent positions.

4 - We used to give a tiny reward to users who wrote a reviews when we had barely 15 players online... ages ago. We need a small boost to appear on the 10th - 8th position... so Imagine.

5 - Triper or Tripper, trips as he's a BIASED moderator. He never shows himself in any way neutral because he keeps the drama going on.

You can guys know better than me that there are no server better than OriginalRO as in renewal features, balance, features, availability, etc.

They started the post because "We copied some rules from another server", to be honest, when I started the server I just wanted to launch it as soon as possible and as the rules were well written and elaborated I copied 'em while we had ours written. ( Pretty much the same thing, nowadays, on any private server the content is the same )

6 - We won't give up because some morons want to see us fail, we're still working on the server : New content is coming soon, more updates, a winter event, new npcs, etc.

7 - In two weeks we'll sign up to ratemyserver again and we'll have, with your help, the same amount of reviews written again.

8 - You perfectly know how the hax guild joined the server and started running with mvp cards in less than a month, most of you have been here since we started the server. The problem is that despite the fact the exploited a bug the rA team can't figure out as it involves an X factor related to a drop luck ( They wont the lottery 5 times ) this guy tried to sell cards to another player for REAL money.


People don't accept anymore they were caught, they keep lying and lying no matter how wrong they are.

The server started on May and since then we've had drama, drama and more drama... It's very sad.

There's another retard who has been posting on the RMS posts, he was the administrator of : DivineRO, Everlasting Odyssey RO and SanctityRO.

He failed on his three servers and had the g***s to come and flame without realizing many people have lost the donations made to his servers and their time of course.

We're competence for other people and they want to bring us down, it's logic.

Don't worry ORIGINALRO PLAYERS, we'll be fine  B)

lol all I can say is that no doubt that your server is good, but the only problem here is the admin it self, you can see the review on your server that you're being unproffesional, but I understand that coz ur still a kid  good job kid. and again provide solid evidences if you want to push your accusations kthxbye

What server does he mean? His server didn't start in May, according to his ex-RMS listing, server started in August. Also wow.
