I'm not familiar with all the details of your quarrel with Ancient and I have no desire to be, but based on what you say, I think you may be thinking about this in the wrong way. There are plenty of great features that are standard on almost every private server now that had to start somewhere. We don't bat an eye that people have "copied" healers, universal warpers, job changing NPCs, quests, and events--it doesn't seem unreasonable to me that if a good new feature is published on one server, people will see it, recognize that it's good, and implement something like it if they make their own server. In fact, almost everything in any game these days is an adaption of something else in an earlier game. Original ideas are very rare, and it's silly to think that the good ones wouldn't be copied. So is it really theft if someone uses your idea? You aren't losing anything--features don't define a server; the community does. If an idea is truly yours and someone else uses it, why is that anything more to you than a compliment? If it were so wrong to use other people's ideas, then why should we even have private servers?

As for announcement text and sentences, that is very minor, and anyone would be more than capable of coming up with their own. It seems to me that if he really did copy those, he did so intentionally to bother you since you two seem to hate each other. And again I mean no offense, but running around screaming as you are about such inconsequential things can only put you in a bad light.

And it's true that I defend Ancient, but that doesn't somehow make my opinions on the matter less substantial. I do so because every interaction I've had with him has been friendly, civil, and reasonable. Ancient has sufficiently demonstrated to me that he is of good character, and I am sorry that that is more than I can say for you. My recommendation that you contain your personal grudges was not just some passing jab; it does honestly make you look bad, and it becomes hard to see your side of things when you meet opposing views with such dismissal.

He hates me, perhaps? I dislike his actions and imitation of my servers.

I don't know him! How could I hate him? Obviously, as he's copying me, he has something against me. I would call out anyone for doing this... Ancient isn't special or something, lol.

You'll forgive me, of course, if I don't believe someone would just IM you out of the blue to curse you out for no reason. Given that and your volume of posts to defame him, it seems clear to me that there is more to this. I will refrain from conjecture, but your story rings false. This is only my perception, however, and in any case it bears little relevance to the topic at hand, so I will say no more on the matter.

EDIT: To clarify, I'm not saying I don't believe he cursed you out. I'm saying I don't believe it was for no reason and that's all there was to the story. Not going to take up another post for this.

Yes, that's why I posted screenshots of the Skype IM window. Anyway, this is irrelevant and as I said you're going to defend even when there's proof against it.

EvolveRO GM does seem a little bit immature and childish according to the screenshot provided.
New GM:
Even if it's the first day that this person became GM, doesn't exactly means they're inexperience. I am sure that this person is a player on Evolve, and should understand certain amount of information to be able to obtain the GM position.

I do not play Cookie or Ancient server, and I will never play them. Both server are offering more drama by the GM/creator than the immature bratty players.

Cookie, it doesn't matter how much you complain about Ancient 'copying' your server/website. Right now, I don't think there anything else you can do. Attacking EvolveRO will not give you back your codes or the right you should have. Think about the bright side, your code is so good that even someone else wants to use it. Just let go, and you be much happier not thinking about the person that upsets you.

lol this stuff all seems to be (bad) mistakes of inexperience. nothing that would doom the future of the server. unless they make the same mistake over and over...
and the post is result of some grudge divinity has towards evolve.

The state of ero is really bad because of this gm team. All I see is a low rate that has copied ideas from other servers. The metagame is horrible... when I found out how easy it is to get RWC dragon helm (why is this even on a lr?!) much less other high end gear I just don't see a bright future for eRO

Last thing is I was told by a friend that about this link showing player info (IP ADDRESSES) to the public... are they really players ips? I dunno... but it sure seems like it which was the last straw for me: http://evolvero.net/test.php

I actually saw the listings of the monsters that the GM "technically" spawned... it's complete false

I'm pretty sure there were 15+ mini valks in that db room, and also i'm pretty sure i've seen 2 baphomets in the db room as well.

What about the other regular mobs that the GM's spawned? literally felt like spawned over 500+ regular mobs in that 1 tight area.

It's not just this event GM though, its other Admin and Head GM's as well... they are bad / inexperienced and they do not know how to figure out problems. I don't know about Ancient.. I think he's doing a fine job, but all the other GM's that are currently there.. no.

And this is coming from someone who played this server for 3 months (A little way too much)

Well, here comes the truth, whether you like it or not:

The monsters listed are the ones @spawned, the other monsters came from the 17 Bloody Branches. And the other mobs were not worth mentioning (thousands of Porings, god beware us), the post also states it. Why would the staff lie about the logs? Do you think if we left out some monsters it would make the screwup less tragic? The event wasn't made for anyone in particular either, Paradise wasn't ever related to TOP in any way, they just happened to be online at that time. It would be really great if you stopped stating your assumptions as if they were facts.

As for the rest:

Why you keep f*** bringing this s*** up ffs, players don't f*** care about your dramas.. and all the things that you posted ain't proving any s***... and its been a long time this server is definitely not f*** the same as your server since I played on your server and the same reason I left... move on from this and stop crying for some petty reasons.

Edit: Oh, sorry. When I read "my server" I thought your meant your scripts. As far as I recall the drama was started by your previous topic.
