Careful with TalonRO.. Donated 832 dollars in 2 month and NO HELP!

Just want to warned some people about TalonRo. I joined their server on 7/15/11 and had to go away because i had a construction project at work that required a lot of attention. Well i came back yesterday to play again a little of RO on TalonRO server and what a surprise i got, I had 3 characters and equipment's that i bought through Donation for a total amount of USD$832.00 in less than 2 month and all went gone except for my characters. I did submit my Support Tickets and i got no help from this guys. They told me the checked on the LOGS that i had a friend from Philippines which i traded my items to (Which i don't deny) but that person returned them to me, even i stayed with some of his gears. I told this suppose helping GM people that and that this person didn't have access to my In Game Account. I told them maybe my account was hijacked, they again Denied.

I want to alert people to be careful about this scam and that if they spent just a cent on this server suppose to be a Donation to keep it better, YOU WON'T SEE a bit of help. What bothers me is that a GM told me he was not going to check back on logs about a year old and that his itemlogs don't go back that far. My question AGAIN, WHERE IS THE HELP HERE BECAUSE I'M THE ONE WITH ALMOST 900 DOLLARS DOWN. I did post SCREEN SHOTS of the PAYPAL TRANSACTION to them and then claimed i shared my login details when i did not, I'M NOT STUPID, that would be the same if i gave my bank account to someone i don't know. Anyway if i did gave the account then that person has my email account access (which i still use and nothing is missing) also 1 account for ebay which has the same password.

I as a player who feel very shamed about how i was treated on this Server would like to listen from others.. I can even post the print-screen of the payments. I just asked this people about answers, or returned my money as in game Talon Coins which is the name they have for money you donate but they just Close my Support Ticked and in the last occasion LOCKED IT.

Sorry if i may get some people mad because they play here and love this server but i think i as a person have my rights to claim with proofs at hand what i invested my money in.

donation - A voluntary gift or contribution for a specific cause

If you donate to Red Cross, you won't ask for money back some years later just because you feel that they didn't help XYZ country well enough.

You should complain about the support and not about money invested because you didn't bought nothing[legally speaking], you got a reward in exchange that now is lost and the GMs don't help you to get them back.

Jejejeje you're right Mr. Triper thats true but i'm not claiming my money but the lost of my items or at least that they replenish my money in what they use in game as Talon Coins.. Will post all paypal donation tomorrow as soon as i get back at the office..

Well, posting here some screenshots of what you've donated doesn't show/mean much.

If you want to warn everybody about their scam[using your own words] then you've to show you having the gears, trading them to your friend, getting them back after a while, all them making puff without nobody accessing your account, talking with gms and them helping you with nothing.

Just posting a screen of the amount of what you've donated means nothing except that you've donated a lot at the server which helps them to be alive for a bit more time and, for that, the players say thanks because you're providing them fun[and no, I don't play there and never played].

Let me quote you our rules again:

- You are responsible for your account's security. Choose a strong, secure password that you will not forget.
- If you give out your password to anyone, you take FULL responsibility for their actions (including botting/scamming/item loss/character deletion)
- We are not responsible if your items got stolen because someone guessed your password, or because they deceived you.
- Don't lend valuable items to anyone for any reason, even for 1 second. If you lend an item to someone, think of how would you feel if they never gave it back. If you would be upset, then don't lend it to them.
- Don't give out your password to someone unless you are willing to take the risk of losing your items and/or account. Also, if you gave someone your password before but they don't need it anymore, then change your password using Account Options under the Control Panel Menu.

We reserve the right to refuse service in an item recovery case if you did not follow any of the above rules, or if the case is complicated such that we cannot determine what rightfully belongs to whom.

We are a big server. Item logs are already heavily improved but we still get several million log entries every week. Right now the counter is at around 20 million picklog entries. So every now and then we clear the log table to improve backup time and faster queries in that table.

The fact here is that you shared your password with someone. The logs clearly say that someone from the Philippines has been regularly logging into your account while you were on it as well those days. That person is the last one who's been accessing your account the past months. No one else logged into it. Items don't simply vanish. That is simply not possible.

If you want someone to blame, don't blame us. We are not the ones who shared passwords and let someone on your account. You are solely responsible for that. Not to mention that you gave us no direction whatsoever about which items were lost. Just saying "help GM my items are gone" is not helpful at all. 99% of the servers don't even have methods to trace items. Coming to the server after a year, sharing your account details and claiming your items are gone without telling us which ones is a situation we cannot help you with.

That you donated to the server does not really matter here. While we are very grateful for it, it simply does not give you any more rights than other players. We refuse item recovery to any player who shared gears or passwords. Simply because we are following our own rules. We clearly state that you should not share your password or items. Still doing so makes you, only you responsible for this loss.

It's not "donate" when items / credits have a set price. They just "rename" the selling of virtual goods to try and avoid any legal issues lol.

Trust lol. I trusted you to be a good admin, but alas you were not. I asked not to be discredited based on the fact that I am an ex-gm, but that continues. It's funny to dismiss any comments because I was fired, yet I was fired under unjust circumstances. Not only that, if you continue to flame someone calling them an angry ex-fm, why would that ex-gm give act otherwise? An honest review is dismissed by claiming its all because i am an ex-gm. Keep living under that premise. Perhaps some people know more or have differing opiniona on the server and gm team. Whenevr such thing happens, gm teams first response ia to discredit them. My review is purely from a players point of view. All who can state they played longer than 1 year, could of made that review. It was not me who brought up the fact I am an ex-gm.

This is my first and only account, except for one which I lost access to years ago. Got any proof to backup your claim? yC can do an IP comparism if you throw in some names, I don't mind such an investigation. And even then, what is your point? How is this related to you at all? Or to this topic? Have you read the support ticket? I doubt it.

Anyway, thank you for taking the time, despite you saying that you don't want to be mocked by us, to mock back and to get our attention. I only exposed what you guys did to serenity on RMS forums, how is this about me wanting your attention? I dont want any. I am bringing attention to you guys, which is inconvienent so its all dirverted to me. Its a review about tro, rms is not a place for GMs to review their players.
