I wanted to try it out and was thinking about the calculations before making it.
What I came up was 99 DEX + 5 (Job Bonus) + 10 (Owl's Eye) + 10 (Blessing) = 124 DEX. I am unsure on how much DEX I need in equipment since Improve Concentration adds by %.
Meh, I've never made an instant-cast, but the accessories should be:
2 Zerom
Apple of Archer
Binoculars
2 Drops in a Hypnotist Staff [2] (Or +9 Lich's Staff, Staff of Destruction, or any other two-handed, or seemingly overpowered rod)
There's 12 dex right there... a total of 136..
That SHOULD get you to instant-cast with improve concentration and a hypnotist staff con 2 drops.
Anything else will be pretty damned fast, though.
Blessing, Owl's Eye, Improve Concentration, Rod with 4x Drops and 2x Zerom accesories gives me 99+48 Dex. If you have a clean death record at 70+ you get an additional +10 on all stats, and there's probably more cards or equips from where you could pull 3 points of Dex with ease.
Edit: Apparently I have been ninjad. Kat, a Super Novice cannot use Apple of Archer nor Binoculars, unless you have been Soul Linked...

Only thing I can think of is a Rocker card in Armor. Vesper card for headgear is not an option in my server. I wanted to use Angelic Set, but I can't think of any way to get 150 DEX with it. :(
Myeah, Rocker card adds another 1 Dex resulting in 148 Dex. Only two points short, but already ridiculously fast.

Heh, I was agaisnt it too at first, but foodstuff is easily huntable, and since it has 20 mins duration, it is not hard to carry a good supply of these.
Might I recommend two Siromas or two Fire Imp Cards on a Stone Cursed enemy.
It won't be instant cast but it will be very fast and much better DPS.
I'm sure to state the obvious with this, but improve concentration adds 12% i believe and instant cast is achievable for super novie.

Having Siroma/Imp cards is a good idea, by the way. While you will not achieve insta-cast (except if you have the additional +10 bonus), you will be so fast that you're as good as uninterruptable and it deals a lot more damage.

99 + 5(job) + 10 (Undying) + 10(Owl's) + 12 (Improve Conc) + 10 (Blessing) = 146. You can easily push it to 150 just with Quadruple Dexterous weapon.
And I recommend the novice set, it's easy to get and pretty damn good, plus it's all slotted.
149 DEX = Less delay than Instant-cast, WITHOUT BRAGI.
Don't believe me? Try it out yourself.
Is DEX's casting bonus in increments of 10? Cause if 140 DEX = 149 DEX, then I don't see much point in investing on it through equips or stat points.
140 DEX = 147 DEX, 148 DEX has less delay, 149 has less delay, 150 is instant but has slightly longer delay.

Is that true for every 10 DEX increment? or is it only with 148 and 149 DEX? Also, do lower levels of DEX go through the same 10 DEX increment bonus? like 120 DEX = 125 DEX?

SO ...I'm assuming MemoZzz is on a private server, using eAthena.
One link is all they need to wear the headgear or weapon forever, 'cause eAthena hasn't scripted that "change-screen-unequip-thing" yet, or probably can't. A Dual clienting slave that follows him everywhere isn't necessary; just log in and out when you need it whenever you feel to change headgears or spam for the +10 to all stats. ...Besides, if you're fighting someone who's got the ability to disarm or de-equip your armours, you're not going to win in the first place, unless it's the gunslinger class or someone with a card.
Having no equips just rape you hard,

It's a private server. I don't know what you mean by eAthena, but a single Soul Link doesn't allow you to wear regular, non-novice weapons and armors forever. At least in my server.
Anyways, I will go for 149 DEX, since it reduces after-skill delay. Thanks for your help everyone.
Edit: Excuse me, 148 DEX.
Just know I wash my hands of the "149DEX reducing after-cast delay". I have no idea what they're talking about.
