Star Glad Questions.

I have a few question about being a star gladiator . Anyone who knows the answers to my questions please reply to them.


1) Does "Demon of the Sun, Moon and Stars" only activates after you reached job level 50?

2) Why do most guides only recommend adding "Demon of the Sun, Moon and Stars" to level 8? Level 10 causes too much blind area?

3) Any good suggestions on where to save the sun, moon and stars map? (Preferably with explanations)

1) I would ask to see if it does or not on your server.

2) There is a guide to get rid of the blind area on the forums.

3) A lot of servers have ways to reset the maps. Otherwise, I would set them on the maps you plan to be doing your later leveling at.

1) Yes I realised it only activates after job level 50 after talking to the GMs.

3) Hmm mind giving some suggestions of suitable maps assuming that I cant reset?

The Star map tends to be Thor_3 for... well, most people. Most make a Star Gladiator for leeching purposes.

you could try a nameless island map i guess?
not actually sure if thats a good idea, but it is a popular place to level

Sun - Geffen 3 and use Hatred on Deviruchis
Moon - Glast Heim Chivalry and use Hatred on Raydrics
Star - ....idk? lot of options

@CookieEater: Hmm thor_ 3? But I thought kasa has more spawns in thor_1? Is there a reason for setting it on thor_3 instead of thor_1?

@Dean Stark: Hey thanks for the suggestions. However I think I failed to inform that the server is approximately 7/7/3 rates. Is it still appropriate for such a server? Any other suggestions other than raydrics?

@JJJ: Thanks but nameless requires the completion of the quest on my server and I am not really thinking of doing it again =X


Guess that I'll put emperium as the solar monster and set the castle map as solar map. That's 1 down. Kasa definitely for star monster and thor_1/thor_3 for star map. That's 2 down! Now how about Moon monster's and moon map? Anyone able to give me suggestions other than raydrics? Or should I set moon map as another castle map? (My guild has 2 castles as targets for WOE)

I still have 2 questions about SG.
1. Does solar aligned monsters have to be on solar aligned map for solar wrath to work? Skills information didn't really suggest that but I will just like to clear this doubt.

2. How do SG train at kasas? I'm not talking about the build or equipments here, but rather, the technique. Do they Flying side kick into a kasa and activate heat to let it do the rest of the job? If not, can anyone who's done it before elighten me?

The only Strategy i know vs Kasas is Flying Side Kick to corner traps. I'm not sure about other choices for Moon maps/mobs. Sphinx 4/Pasanas? Mosc 1/Leshij? Mosc 2/Baba? Louyang 2 or 3/Hyegun? Comodo Field 2/Seals? There are a lot of choices if only you did some SEARCHING.

Sun - Siromas, hatred siromas, easy exp
Moon - Gallions / Raydrics, again, easy exp
Stars - Thor 1 if you are going to leech people in the future / want to level fast, odin_tem03 for valk slaying

2. FSK, heat, use fresh fish to heal yourself, flywing, repeat.  There is an instant spawn area in thor_1 where kasas spawn by a corner, SGs tend to do better in that area than the rest of the map, since they are trapped when they spawn.

Believe me I did some searching, just that I couldn't make up my mind. I'm now hesistating between anolians (better exp and oridecons) and raydric (drops elunium)  .

Edit: I've tired out using heat to fight raydrics but its hard. Firstly I FSK and then I use heat on them. the raydrics keep knocking back so I have to keep walking towards them. Am I doing anything wrongly? Are there techniques to overcome it and make it easier to trap them at a corner or do I just have to place myself and them properly? Also what's the best build to use for training at raydric using heat?

spam flying side kicks and dont make a mistake on clicking attacking it coz u need side kick
to get close and spam some damage u can do like 1-3k per second on them + sidekick which have the
minimum 2k damage on them if u have good equips
