1. Pump DEX
2. Pump AGI
3. ???
4. Profit! Suck in pvp

If you want to PvP/WoE, you will probably end up with Desperado build which means DEX/VIT/INT.

Gunslingers has a few types of guns, right?

I'm planning on using a "revolver". Is it a good weapon for a beginner?

My purpose for creating it is for PvM, hunting for materials for plant bottles and weapon forging. But, since i'm playing in my local PvP server, i might as well kill those annoying bots while hunting.

I'll take your advice, desperado type, sounds cool! Thanks dude. /no1

Desperado won't be very good for item hunting, because desperadoers level by creating a massive mob of monsters and then owning them, like Grand Cross Crusaders. Some monsters simply aren't aggressive and you can't mob them.

If you want to stick to PvM, I'd suggest you stick to DEX/AGI and handguns.

I'd made my revolver gunslinger, but the attack power is so low.
Is there a better gun for item hunting purpose?

BTW which is the most popular gun gunslingers use?

I think for non-desperado it will be Western Outlaw, as it increases your Aspd based on your AGI and your AGI should be 90+.

Personally I'd go for revolvers. I do agree that desperado types are kinda hard to level, since they'd have to look for big mobs of monsters, but since they DO mob, I find it easier to get exp..
