Anyone from qRO? (Quality Ragnarok Online)

I've been gone from RO for a while, and just got back into it. I searched for qRO but then found out it's gone, their High Rate was the best one I ever played, hopefully Rave/Frosty/someone brings it back, and some of it's old population. 

WoE on qRO.HR was among the best too, lots of guild rivalry.

I remember a RocK Rhymz on qRO.HR, and others like Soul Society who had a monopoly on God Helms. (from the most wanted castle)
Anyone know about any remakes?

I think Smug tried to re-open qRO again and it was an epic failure. I used to have the link for it but it never got off the ground. The Channel on IRC is still there but no one frequents it. Someone else actually owns it. It'd be nice to see some of the old people that played there but i'll bet 90% of them moved on to bigger and better games.

I just felt the urge to google for "quality ragnarok online" and found this thread. I'm from old qRO LR and went by the alias Blondie. If you ever visited the pvp rooms you most likely know who I am (considering I lived inside those rooms for 2½ years). I played Champion and High Wiz.

Wow, i did the same thing.  i was remembering the good old days waiting for something to download and decided to google "quality ragnarok online".  My friend ben (went by Illuvatar, Manwe, Melkor) got me into the server and it consumed most of my freshman and sophmore years of high school.  I remember old qRO in Kirby's Guild and then when the wipe happened I started to get into it even more.  I went by many names including ShanghaiKnight (LK), Ballzy (Smith), and TheTrueEros (Champ).  I was part of the ~Grace of Valar~ guild (who Illuvatar ran) and then went to Resurection and ended in Veterans.  I hung out with TitanBoo (one of the best players ive ever met) and Magnus (godly pvper).  This was all on qRO.HR btw.  I tried to find another good server but never quite settled (Feel RO for a while but it also went down).  Now im officially "retired" but im sure all of you know ragnarok eventually pulls you back in...

Wowwwww.  reading this post beings back sooooo many good memories.  Hand down q-ro will be the best private RO server in my mind that was available.  Its so sad that after 3-4 years of friendship and bonding we are separated throughout the private servers.  I miss soo many people and the guild i was in, Forbidden Glory and Thugline.  I played on the LR server which was were i begun my RO training and got pretty good myself heh.  Anyways now ive heard from some friends that some of the players are opening there own servers or becoming GMs in others or just playing.  I even opened my own server trying reunite some of the q-ro buddies thats would there since legacy did a s*** job of keeping us together and wiping twice.  For those of your q-ro'er out there look in the server advertising for AwtzRO you'd be surprised who you find there .

I played on the old qRO when it only had around 50 people. I remember the epic WoE's and guild rivalry. It was fun but sadly the staff did it to themselves by closing the server. I played there for around 3 years or so. Started my old guild and I miss it much but now I'm running my own server so I wouldnt have time to go back even if they did open again.

I played qRO however,near the beginning of the server.The admin got really outrageous and jailed me and continuously killed me and made me PM another guy saying "Sorry" for when he KSed me over 20 times.

Apart from that I had fun on my assassin cross PvPing,while hiding from teaming nubs.

Yes.... qRO was the best, for certain. 

I also had the urge to Google "Quality Ragnarok Online," just to see what I could find.  Interesting that I found that my good friend/guildmate Shanghai has already posted here.

Indeed, I was the guild leader of the Valar guild.  Yes, I was a member of Revolt, and Resurrection and Veterans guilds. 

I do remember the Starberry Guild; I saw Gavan online there just a few months ago.  I have not been able to play RO at all lately; I have been far too busy.
