Lmao you guys doing this server bashing for sport or what? Infinite FW was removed 30 minutes after they implemented it due to massive negative feedback, they actually listened to people. Other donation items can not be traded thus can't earn zeny selling them. Server has DDoS protection now, haven't had a single DC (or lags) since they implemented the new system. GMs listen to players and apologize when they mess things up, these negative reviews are getting boring, you should really touch some grass asap

*Edit: Server currently has 780 chars online and roughly 150 of them are autotraders, but nobody states these facts, only infinite FW infinite FW blabla

I only played Project Sunshine for like 10 mins and then quit, just not my type of thing. And sure! Youre free to have positive comments for Project Sunshine, but so am i to have my own opinions and my comments on it  .

If they pulled out infinite fly wing + cash shop out of nowhere thats a red flag to me lol, since ure left with your own thoughts about whether if theyre gonna pull out a different turd or not. I just find it funny and wanted to give my thoughts on it.

Hi Ara, I know the topic has been stopped for a while I'm having an error in the script I didn't find a mob.db but the version I have of act editor I believe is not compatible with the current script, it's giving an error


'GRF.ContainerFormat.Commands.CommandsHolder<GRF.Core.FileEntry>' does not contain a definition for 'AddFileAbsolute' and no extension method 'AddFileAbsolute' accepting a first argument of type 'GRF.ContainerFormat.Commands.CommandsHolder<GRF.Core .FileEntry>' could be found (are you missing a directive or an assembly reference?)"

I'm probably using a very recent version of act editor, do you have the version that works with this script?

Sorry for the bump, can anyone please help as I am having the same error when running the script on ACTEditor 1.2.8. It seems that it doesn't recognize the command 'AddFileAbsolute'. I have a mob_db.txt but I am not sure if it's updated or the one needed.

Please help because the mobsWithName.grf that Tokeiburu has provided doesn't have certain mobs like Archer Skeleton and Skeleton Soldier, etc. I would like to have it added using the script.

If you also have a download link for a known working mob_db.txt that would be greatly appreciated. I am hoping for a response and thank you so much in advance.

Just keep posting on WarpPortals suggestions forums and beg them to create a true iRO Classic Loki server again.

I agree.
Not that anyone trusts WarpPortal to keep a classic server up permanently, due to them closing theirs in the past, I'd still have more faith in an official server being maintained long term than a private server.
Private classic servers have a horrible track record, opening and closing more often than the seasons change.

If WarpPortal announced an official classic/pre-renewal RO server that received their maintenance funds from SUBSCRIPTION fees instead of predatory cash shop items or donations, I'd join in a heartbeat.

Subscriptions work well for WoW classic, and can work well for RO classic.
Not only does it keep the funding steady for the server's maintenance, the quality of the community is better because players actually have something to lose if they misbehave rather than just making endless accounts for free.

The players need to realize that no private server is permanent. Any donation system whatsoever that these private servers try to pull is an upper hand for that player period!

The only donation that works is non-incentivized donation. Obviously you don't get anything... but the cost of running a server is not cheap so they have to pull the trigger and any server cannot cater to everybody, in the end, its up to the server owner to do whatever they want.

Most of these servers nowadays are very repetitive. Once they get their money... they crash and burn. Not enough donation... well shut it down... all we gotta do is make another server... more cash input!

I find Project Sunshine to be an incredibly life-changing experience, due to how they had an incredibly successful beta test run and then when officially open, they tried their best to get as much positive reviews from players. When things started to settle down a little bit and players are comfy and committed their time, project sunshine decided to pull out their final trump card, " infinite fly wing " and cash shop items     

Project Sunshine is the goat, it helped me to truly realise that the only way to truly enjoy ragnarok is to just make an offline server and enjoy it by yourself. I also find it incredibly funny to see some familiar faces in the server, to waste their time playing and then pull off bad reviews as well     

Im glad that i stopped wasting time playing private server

This is biased of me, but Muhro. At least 5 of the things you want are on Muhro. Rates are 50x, but the quest boards make it much less time, and the accessibility to cash shop battle manuals being almost free, makes it that much shorter. It's a drama-free place (boooriiingg D: ) the competition is "lax", and everyone SHOULD welcome you with open arms. If not, tell me how that goes and share your awful experience BECAUSE EVERYONE IS SO NICE HERE!!.. Give it a try and see how you like it. It should hit almost all of your points, and is quite lenient on obtaining cash shop currency ingame.
