RO needs a lot of clients because the game design to need a lot of classes or you simply can't play at all. Therefore it promotes multi-clients.

Broker is just much more modern system that convenience for players to sell/buy stuff.

( /swt chatgpt /sry) Hello, I am working on a server that will open in September and it seems to match your requirements. It's a low-rate server with GMs who have real experience as tryhard players (good knowledge of the game). There are no overpowered items like enriched/bubble/infinityfly/rwc hat/book xp/token/etc. The server is set in episode 13.2 and is for unique accounts only.

Regarding the unique account system, it's a bit special. Let me explain: you have the possibility to be accompanied by a "robot" which acts like a player. You need to level it up, equip it, and allocate its stat points and skill points, just like a real player. You can let it play automatically (like a more intelligent hommonAI) or switch to manual control with a single click (this also switches your shortcut bar, making it ergonomic). The robots are also tradable as they can be stored in a "robot core" (pokeball?) (maximum one robot per player). It's up to you to decide if this counts as a single account or a double account. You only run one client, but you manage two characters ^^'. The server is already accessible if you want to see how it works. DISCORD /no1

I disagreed with merchant unique.

By disabled vending DC/OC it will make no longer people need merchant alternate aka second client.
RO needs a lot of clients because the game design to need a lot of classes or you simply can't play at all. Therefore it promotes multi-clients.

Broker is just much more modern system that convenience for players to sell/buy stuff.

I think it is very important to clarify the leak was data from the launch days of Return to Morroc.  So it isn't like the entire user data from the start to the end.  I don't want anyone to have an unnecessary heart attack reading the previous post.

Orstein made a clarification on the leak that it could be data from up to the first 15 days of the server.  Those that could be affected were notified individually.  So if you didn't get any notification, you shouldn't be worry or go back to the server's discord to ask Orstein if you are worried.

What data was leaked?
Some slightly sensitive information, but nothing too critical. The data refers to login and password for accounts created on PRM's launch day, it also contains some specific personal data like emails and IP used for registration or early donation logs. Im addressing it publicly so you know what happened.
The leak lasted for a few hours and was plugged along with the fixes uploaded, but some data may still be around. While Im honestly very sorry for that... its not the first time in history of gaming and internet it happens, as you know

While I agree that I'd personally love the convenience of every class being able to vend at least 1 item (to make Merchants feel more special when they can vend multiple items) I can't fully agree on a change like that because it takes away from the Merchant guild's uniqueness and lore.

The merchant guild is meant to be a bit cutthroat. Lore-wise, they want to dominate the market, and don't you remember what happened in the anime when that naive girl tried to vend her apples without the proper license from the merchant guild? She got beat up and her apple cart got destroyed by other merchants.

So a change like that doesn't fit into RO's world as much as it doesn't fit with RO's gameplay. Merchants already don't feel as special in a lot of private servers due to a lot of classes getting autoloot, area loot, or the greed ability there which was supposed to be unique to one of the merchant 2nd classes.

Do not forget that every class can still sell and buy from NPCs without discounts and overcharging. If you don't want to put in the effort to be a Merchant, you just have to kiss your discounts and overcharges goodbye and accept a little less zeny flowing in.

I've tried uaRO, it has a good community but the GMs doesn't seem to know what they're doing so I'm looking for a new low-rate server to play on.

- 99/70 (pre-renewal)
- single client
- no custom items (no wings please)

Wow, this is very cool too see. People ahead of their times back in 2007!

I was thinking about that feature too. If it's somehow valuable to show the vending history of all items. I'll surely keep that in mind. Appreciate that you shared this Bullet!
