1. Download GRF Editor (just google it, I believed it's hosted on rAthena and Hercules forums, the latest version).
2. Open data.grf or whatever GRF your monster sprites are saved in, they are in data/¸ó½ºÅÍ
3. Find the mvp.spr you are looking for
4. Click sprite editor->export all sprites
Now you have .bmp files you can edit, when you are done just recompile them into the monster sprite and preview in game

If you have any sprite or photo editing prowess, you can start there. Just use GRF editor to extract the assets you need(in this case, all of the MVP sprites) and go from there.

I want to make it simple because at my server we have an event where there is a lot of MVPs walking around. All I need is a way to show above the head of the MVPs some basic info like which element makes more damage. Nothing fancy, just a static text.

This troll made good points throughout the read that I would agree with. I started your server in it's early open stages, and it was quite disappointing to play something that I thought I would like to play. I was offered trivial ideas and builds that I disliked overall, and I was informed that healing is not an option, at all.
The server played like a 1x server, but you were forced to farm each mob individually, or die trying. I understand your server was meant to be a custom experience, but the fundamentals of an MMO are slightly missing here. If I recall, this was supposed to be a solo experience, when in fact, you are punished for party play, making it significantly longer to do anything. So in essence, it's a tedious solo experience, where specific classes can do specific content.
I tried about four class types before I moved on from your server, and it wasn't because a troll told me things are unbalanced, it's because I experienced it, and I refused to play the class everyone else was playing, in order to actually experience the game. A friend attempted to keep me around, by helping me level through content, but even that was a limited experience, and I didn't want to burden him with it.
If you say changes have been made, then my return should be a pleasant one? is that something you can promise me? or will I face the same tedium I did before I left? where my decisions are NOT my own, but a GUIDE I need to follow or never really get ahead?
And for the record, someone's past history, whether they worked with Hitler or not, doesn't make their points void. I would discontinue such a thought process, because it serves no value in a conversation. What's most important is you prove their claims to be wrong, or you improve off of their claims.

Last post by Felione - Sep 27, 2023, 02:14 PMI'm assuming this review is strictly in regards to the arch mage changes/fixes. If you actually needed warning, after more than half the server said it was broken, then that was your decision to pursue.
The review in regards to the community is actually half true, but more leaning on the toxic side. They are toxic, and some actually don't care for the server to improve, but rather to keep their seniority somehow. It's not a friendly place, and suggestions are being made so that players who already benefitted, get to keep their benefits, while new players get that fresh and new grinding curve that may take much longer to achieve. The older players were also very negative to any QOL changes. It was just silly adults acting like children.
That aside, the community will help you, if you ask -at the right time-. I've been ignored on many occasions, but I usually got an answer at specific times. From my understanding, it was probably old Nova players, who were usually helpful on Nova, were the ones who actually helped.
I personally don't know how to feel about the staff, but Muh is the only person you should talk to, ever, for anything. Don't ever talk to his wife about anything, especially if it involves you, and another player, in a dispute. Keep a direct line with the boss, and you will always be satisfied.
I still don't know how to feel about this server, because I detest specific things and people within it, and this ungenuine vibe you get from the community which resided there before Nova closed. It's just so fake on the outside.
As for the lag: Yes, this is a GENUINE iro experience. The server goes down for hours, and you get to wait and chat about it for hours. It's kinda fun if you like that sort of thing.

BR guild players (not all, but a handful) are sadly often caught resorting to 3rd party cheats like macros and dual clienting and when they get banned they cry about it in discord and claim GMs are against them.
As far as elitism is concerned, I have never experienced it. I am mostly play PvM here. I have interacted with a lot of LFP and OnlyPans and none of them seem to be elitist by any sort. I have partied with LFP members in multiple leveling parties. I have a friend in OnlyPans who helped me start off on the server and still helps me out when I need it.

Did FluxCP have any limitations that encouraged you to embark on this journey, or is it just a for fun hobby ?
Feels a lot like re-inventing the wheel unless you are planning to introduce some features that Flux doesn't have.. or tackle a performance limitation that Flux may have, but you didn't mention either of those.
