Actually,

Server owners caught providing incentives to their players for reviews of their servers (no matter good or bad) will have their servers suspended from the listing.

Why does everyone overlook that part of the TOS?

We simply ask that you write a totally fair and honest review, and despite what rating you give us, you will recieve 1 million zeny. We just want to get the Wright RO name out there, and keep progressing us as a server!

I'm pretty sure this goes against the TOS then.

Everyone has their tastes, but if someone reports you for such things, and then you get upset with them for reporting you rightfully.

How does this make no sense? The one person who tried to defend you on this post did it through the clever use of sarcasm, to point out to the OP that she needed to calm down and rethink this.

Note that a monkey (or rather ape, let us say, since you seem to enjoy that reference so much) could appear 'mature' behind a keyboard thanks to simple things like using spell-check  and thinking through what they say before hitting "Post".

I am reminded of the saying, "absolute power corrupts absolutely" in regards to the @item command. In my opinion, gms with this command should NEVER be allowed to distribute items to players. Why? Well at first, the gm will run some events, maybe give out some obb's as prizes. Everyone is happy. But soon, community starts to develop, and the gm has some tight friends. "Here, I'll give you x amount of potions to help you out" Still not a big deal. But the logical progression is eventually the gm will start handing out better things, i.e. cards + good equip. This process will happen almost immediately if this gm has friends in real life.

However, the gm was booted, and I'll assume you've learned that lesson here, so enough on that.

What I've learned from the world of Ragnarok is that humans create drama anywhere, and not even the best of admins can control it. If you want to play a server with no corruption or dram, you can really only make your own. No gm/admin can promise you a drama-free existence.

My suggestion to the OP... if this behavior bothers you, move on. He's lost a player and you've sent your message.

My suggestion to MWright... perhaps mute people rather than swearing at them, or at least use different expletives. A large vocabulary full of unique expressions is one of the best ways to make yourself appear more "mature".

Smart move, change the post, but you should have just deleted it.

Check the date it was posted originally,  last time it was editted (today).
Now, check what time I posted, (bottom half), to verify it was editted today.
Then, look at the post by horo earlier this month informing him of the review she made.

You've got some nerve dude. You don't know anything about my server or me, yet you go and lambast it. Its not people like me that ruin a server, its people like you. Mind your own business.

You're damn right, if you are doing wrong, I will point it out.
Ruining a server, you offer zeny for reviews, and then tanks from GMs for bringing 10 friends to your server.
My business is what I make it, and right now it is to shed light on the truth, and that's what I am going to do, not hide it like you have tried.

Where is the challenge in having a GM tank for you?
I could get alot of people to join just for a while so I could get that tank if I wanted.
Slotted gears, usually you have to work hard for good slotted gears, and you usually have to farm for the bottle materials, or purchase materials and take the chance of wasting those items to make those bottles.
Where is the challenge in earning 1m zeny when you could just write a review?

If they are found false, then they are deleted.
This is a server report, if you have a problem with people telling the truth about your server, then don't make a server, or don't look at the topics.

Wright, I highly recomend you to take anger management council. Screw the Anger Management course in high school - that will only increase your temper, ironically. I'm afraid to say, you have an issue when dealing with your own temper. Everyone has it, sure, and I'm not holding it against you. Still, if you're going to deal with anything involving Human Relations, you really need to be able to remain calm, even when furiously pissed off. It takes time, effort, and a lot of experience, so I'm sure you'll grow it as you work with people, but you'll definitely want to start working on it as soon as you can. Learning self control is kind of essential before taking any serious leadership roles.

Now, I don't personally think I've done anything that would warrant me to be insulted for being immature, but I might as well build my counter in advanced. xD I'm 20. Big deal. I act, on a day bases, at about the age of 16. Mind, this can increase anywhere to the maturity of a 40 year old man, to the levels of a 7 year old. I give people 1 million zeny for a fair and honest review, like it says right on my page. Theres no rule against that. Only TWO people have taken me up on that offer. The other 12 did it of their own volition. If you don't want to believe that, its fine, it doesn't really matter now does it?
