GM /\/atsume

Hello all~
This is just basically a post informing people of a spiteful developer. If he makes it to the GM Hall of Shame, even better.

Information: We had a developer called Natsume though spelled /\/atsume. After a little while, he decided to give up dev-ing for us, and continued for a couple of weeks without logging in. He refused to tell anyone why, or if he had even quit officially. We didn't take much notice to this, but later on he decided to come back, however because during his absence we had recruited more developers to take over his position, we decided that if he came back we would just have him do a few custom items for old time's sake.

We informed him that his position was to *just* make custom items. Somehow he concluded that this meant make custom items, AND log in game and screw around with players.
I was reading through the command logs one day and I caught him hosting a tarot event for 3 players remarking that 'this would be the last time he logged in'. (At this point in reading the command logs I thought something was up) Continuing to read I saw that had given to a player a large quantity (15000) of royal credits (what we use as event rewards, but mostly only give around 20 maximum for an event). He then preceeded to remove them from the character. Then create 500 Royal Credits for each player. The maximum for that event is 20. He also created a Donation Item and gave it to a player. Something which we definitely do not do. (To me it sounds like as he thought it was his last day, he would just break the rules regardless of consequence, just out of spite or something)

He also decided to play around with one of our Trial GMs (GM level 20) making him level 40 then resetting him down to level 20.

Going back through the logs now, I can see that he also gave a legit character allskills. (#skillall "r")

His actions were sanctioned. However when one of new developers restarted the server, ALL of our custom NPCs had dissapeared. Checking the files, the entire Custom NPC file and its backups were deleted. In the vps logs, the IP address of the one who accessed the server and did this (before being fired) was infact Natsume. He even said to one of our owners "wait til you restart the server". On later investigation, he hadn't actually just deleted the NPCs, he had transferred them to another server he was working on!

Luckily, we had the majority of the NPCs on our alternative server. :3

Anyway. . . Please do not let yourself fall victim to him. I'm in the process of getting further screenshots of logs and such, so I'll post them when I get 'em.

What does the name matter? If somebody was named icanown but had good experience and a good application I would hire them. I'm guessing it was the same case with aliveownz.

Oddly enough, we had a previous account called deadownz who's IP was the same as another account who had characters called iMeep and GM Presence. . .

Which I thought was a little ironic if not suspicious. XD

Regardless, Natsume does not appear to be Meep.

So what does your assumption going LAst i belive wasnt Gm pressence Itachi's account?
Just because i logged into it whats does that make u occur?

I was only saying that it was ironic.

Nothing more.

Not to mention, I didn't join early on or know much about Itachi, Presence and Meep until much later on.

Besides, I wasn't trying to suggest that the account of deadownz is anything to do with Itachi, etc. Simply pointing out the connection from deadownz to aliveownz.

Natsume is an original player of Pre-RO. Tearbleu's server. He's bound to be a retard. Mind you, GloomyRO isn't all innocent either. Constantly resetting and ripping off donators, irresponsible management who only care about money. Sounds like a typical RO server to me.

Anyways. Natsume used to be "Coleman" also Aliveowns and "Byakugan". Pinoy + Naruto + Tearbleu + Ragnarok = Hall of Shame.
