Hi everyone, I'd like to offer you a new full course of Drama.

Firstly, this is about this member of eA and soon RMS: Helios

He offered and asked to be a staff member for my server, while we had a full staff, he was a member of the eA community who had contributed somewhat (spin off's of OTHER works, but none the less, had seemed like a good guy.)

I offered him a spot on my server as a developer. I didn't NEED the extra position, but I felt that offering him a position on my server, would help give him credibility (as far as GM experience), allowing him to help me scripting other quests and stuff, all while making our server better.

At first, he started asking for things, no problem, which then lead to him asking for full access of our server files.

Of course we said No; hell, our server co-admins don't have access to that, I'm not willing to give someone who may or may not have been a GM on my staff for < 4 hours access to something me and my co-admin have spent MONTHS working on.

So, we denied his requests, however, gave him some scripts to sort of see what he could "add" to them.

I additionally released a script on eAThe Healing Fountain which was one of the scripts, we gave him an older version of a dice event that we tailored to our settings, and a small invasion script.

I log on today, and get a message from one of my sub-admins, that he had tried converting them over to his server via an MSN conversation.

I then confront him about it, and says it's his brothers server. I ask if anyone has access to his MSN to account, he professes that no one does, but when offered with evidence, it is a coincidence that his "brother", got onto his MSN account and then randomly asked people to be GMs.

Coincidence.

So, I finally asked what his brother's servers name was.

Wow, we are getting to almost epic levels of copying right now.

And just to verify that that is MY account, you can check the images in the DreamerRO topic below, which was posted back in Sept., so the account is rightfully mine.

mmm actually his i messaged him his msn picture was different then his ea profile picture. EA it looked like a older kid and the msn looked like a younger pic. Also even so if he copied your forums then why even bother it aint copyrighted. People make there forums the same as other people.

idk it looks sorta fishy but ive joined evonyro and it looks like non of your scripts are in there. There is no invasion and or so. Plus i guess there fine since theres like 13 players online.

I wouldnt make a big deal outta it yet unless they copy your server fully then thats a big deal. people rip others ideas all the time. But all his ideas are found on the ea forum.

Also to the evonyro concept of a web browser they make names up for RO all the time so evonyro and evony the game are different names in perspective. I wouldnt even bother starting about that.

I'm really confused as to whom demon5644 is.
Its odd to me that he joined today, the same day that EvonyRO was introduced to RMS in the GM Recruitment section. And, on top of it, he's a business man on an iPhone. I'm not saying that it isn't true but; A) being on an iPhone doesn't effect your grammar, and  B) I don't know of any business men who would willingly name themselves demon, let alone with 4 random numbers after it.

Defending your server's cool and all, but my guess is that he/she's a GM hopeful. I think its pretty clear that there was some copying. It was copying of rules, but still, common.

I think that it could/should go into the Hall of Shame, because its a good example of what to look for in a potential "thief." 

I was also wondering what the relationship between Helloween, and Deviant/Helios is. Helloween is the one advertising the server on RMS, the obvious job of admins and co admins alike (or an advertising GM, whatever that really is). Helloween was also a name on the EvonyRO forums, for those of you who didn't get the chance to actually see it before it was axed. Helloween didn't have any type of Moderator account on the forums and no where did it say anything about him being an actual GM of any kind. My theory is that either Helloween and Helios are the same person, or they're two separate people and one of them is demon as well.

I have chat logs of Zone explicitly telling me he would refuse take a position at my server, let alone ANYWEHRE. Zone just started liking RO again, who am I to f*** with that and try to convert him to staff?

I'd just like to put it out there, I do have Photoshop, but the only thing I use it for is taking stuff and giving them transparent backgrounds.
Otherwise, I suck balls at photoshop.
Secondly, I use mspaint more frequently than I do photoshop.
Thirdly, as Gorthextiger stated, he said the next person he would be hiring would be me, and I told him I'm not interested in being staff on ChosenRO, or any other server. My assistance that I give them is out of generosity and good will.

I also explained to him why I never want to be a GM again.
When I get involved in server staff, I dedicate myself to it, and I lose all free time I have.
Why? Because I look at it as an actual job, not something to do when I think "oh, well I'm bored, so I'mma go log in and be a staff member."

And lastly, in the picture I posted, all I edited was the firefox tabs to remove the titles of some connections I was looking at because they showed full IP addresses. But hey, I don't have to explain myself anyways. I'm not the one in question, and what I do on my computer is none of your business. On top of that, I used mspaint to do the editing.
