im not depending on sacri/devo pally or full support priest/other class
i play pvp alone no party..
just trying my talent if how many people i can kill
or how long i can survive..

what's the best class for independent player??

the woe top 3 killer classes are pretty much similar (given balanced lack of gr)

Clown has a great variety of skills who allow them to pretty much outdamage most classes on first hit (If you got a lucky frost joker and wind arrow VA), if you have a slave link you can also flash the Slow dancer skill and run away. Ninja can be a option if you have the need of a more challenging strategy, whereas you have to faceroll two buttons (ciceda and lightening spear), caution, only experienced players are advised to peform this. Soul Linker are also legendary on PvP.

But if you're on a server where the PvP is the official one and have a ranking system, you can find a even better solution, get a Champ, buy a lot of Ygg Berries and go to PvP. Asura someone and steadly slam the berry button, this way, you will recover all your mana and ta-da, you're ready for another asura. With this you will be on top 10 in no time.

Assassins are overrated.

Detection - other than Sight available to all mages, Heavens Drive is essentially Sight but can be casted anywhere. I won't even mention s*** like Maya headgear which is not uncommon in PvP.
Disabling - do I even need to say anything? Dispel, Spell Breaker, Soul Siphon, Fiberlock, Mind Breaker...
Protection - Safety Wall renders SinXes and Champs useless. Blinding Mist renders everyone else useless. Magic Rod renders other Professors and the occassional instacast SN useless.
Offense - Stone Curse + 2x Fiberlock + Double Bolt Fire Bolt = gg unless you stacked mDef like crazy(in which case enjoy losing most of it because of Mind Break) or have a Fire Armor(In which case enjoy 2x Siroma Clip + Double Bolt Cold Bolt or good old Frost Diver + Double Bolt Lighting Bolt)

mindbreak sucks offensively, it only disables their soft mDEF afaik.

and ah, clown. AV still does retarded dmg even on frozen enemies if you have no BG guitar. With a BG guitar, well ya dmg is pretty decent. They don't outdamage most classes on 1st hit though.

Ninja is a good option, but too bad they get owned by certain skills, which coupled with their low hpmod isn't so great after all. Good SLs don't die, but they can't kill good players either.

so, i onced tested my h.wiz in woe..

im in rank 26 in pvp..
after woe ends(1 hr)
my rank goes up to 16..
annd afterwards.. its pvptime
i didnt noticed that my rank goes up again to 13..wth!

i have mayaP for sinXs and [gtb for those casters]/horn for snipers..
i played pvp.. and im only vs 1 guild(almost 10members)
they have
hwiz, champ, sinXs, GS, annd their gm prof.

cos hwizards are not as great in pvp. fact. unless u have like tons of kiel cards/fbh/hwiz card or sth. why? lack of strings support means your cast is easily interrupted, or even if u have instantcast ur cast delay would be huge.

secondly, they are nullified by 1 card. gtb card. and by one class. prof.

yes, they have the highest kills in woe, but that's because of their aoe. and because their aoe hits multiple times (meaning if someone was sonic blowed to be left with 1khp, the SG would kill him and still count towards the wiz's kill)

if that 10ppl managed to lose to you, then ya, it's difficult to believe that. no 10 ppl should ever lose to a hwiz unless they're veryvery terribad. not even if the hwiz is of RWC caliber. considering there is a prof inside that 10man team.

hwizs are great offensive support and with the right support can be a very feared killer (BC+strings+sala card+mindbreaker). but then, that's with support. they are not an independent class.

but i killed 3~4 foes before i was been killed..

that spider web of prof can countered by my garban or i uses my sW to my char so that no one can SB/asura me.

i just only cast and flee with speed pots ^___^
