I didn't play this server, but just watching it makes me sad. All the people I played with and servers once vibrant. 


What is the saddest moment for you during your RO playing days?


For me, I lost a precious card I had worked so hard for due to a storage bug.

Has to be when the server announce that its live have to end.

Other than that, watch my friend(s) said quit and the item give-away after ;( doesn't make me feel happy to gain what is left from a friend.

When the first server I ever played on shut down.
Supposedly they got a C&D.

When a good friend in game suddenly gone without saying anything and never on anymore. Well that was sad because back then we had no social media to stay in touch

Hearing that a player had a terminal disease that would end with her life in 1 year.

Seeing the members from my guild, who I was getting closer to, in LegacyRO in 2008 slowly leave while switching to different servers until it was just me who's mostly online in 2009 ending in PhaseRO. A small reunion in 2010 with whatever members we can salvage, reduced to 5-6 including myself.

We barely communicate anymore nowadays and the number of posters in our (mostly dead) forum can be counted by one hand. With single posts taking up weeks to months.

I've got two:

Waking 3 minutes late before Fallen Bishop spawned. It died and the server announced someone else got the card. Devastating.


My favorite server going down in flames, even after it had a promising rebirth and so much more effort put into it by the community.

Seeing a good server shut down when you grew to love and accepted it as your new home is always a bad moment and we have to go about looking for a new home. But the saddest moment in RO is when you lose friends whom you trust and had some of the best times with.

Being there when pRO finally closed down. I grew up with the game (been playing since the beta) so it felt like a part of me died when the server was killed.

Saddest moment? When one of my favorite servers that I was a GM at closed due to financial problem, its Chu!RO, sadly. I was able to search for a server like it, but it died as well, due to inactive staff and lack of players and that's WarfareRO.

Even if its almost 2 years Chu!RO closed down, I'm still in hopes that the owner will reopen it again, but he's having a good life after he got his new job a year ago.

When 2 of my guildmates that I met while playing ragnarok and had alot of fun playing for some months went on vacation (hunting trip) but they both got killed in a car accident on their way there.....RIP
