Whenever I see RO screenshots or videos filled with super-ugly custom wings, I feel like vomiting. Seriously. What's wrong with people who enjoy these? Some custom hats are acceptable, BUT WINGS?!

I hate large wings above all when they use non-RO colors.

But there are very few small wings that I like. But I stress the small x__x;

I like tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny wings.

Like, really tiny.

I hate anything bigger than the character sprite, and absurd colours.

It also has to be a statless, slotless Lower, a Lower&Mid Slotted, or a Slotted Mid with very tiny stat additions, such as +1.

Can't deal with -10% Demi-Human, +2 All-Stats, Slotted Wing s***.

My thoughts on wings don't really differ much from your own.

I do like the Angeling wings as well, that I admit. Mostly because they're small, adore and well, they flap! FLAP I TELL YOU! Those are the only reasons I like them really. : 3

I'm fairly picky about wings. I prefer ones that are nicely sprited and don't melt my eyes. And also aren't HUUUUGE.

I think my favorite wings are the Succubus/Incubus wings, for special reasons. <3

@ Kyomi: Sprites that suit RO, in terms of pallets and fittings. I guess it's the main reason I don't mind the Angeling wings. I like the Incu and Sucu wings, though I find they are too.. Well spaced. Y'know?
They are nice though.

I'm one of those people that will wear anything IG if I can get something out of it.
Right now on my LK I have FB (cute), masquerade (URGH) and gentleman's pipe (cute too in my opinion, but doesn't go well with masquerade. Not that anything works with that ugly thing).
Sure, it'd look 1,000 times better with, say, angel wing ears instead of masquerade (or robo eyes or whatever) but I think people don't care about looks because they want crazy damage output and good defense.
To RO old-timers: do you remember when you guys all had poo on your char's head? (poo poo hat).
Did that prevent you from PVPing or WOEing? Weren't you happy when the beret got out though? x)
Well now beret's the new lame and Feather Beret is cool. I'm pretty sure they'll make something new again, the nice part is that poo poo hat sucked, beret looked kinda ugly, but feather beret is gooood <3

I guess it's the same thing with wings. Also, there are chars who can afford to look pretty even in WoE setting because not wearing x piece of equipment won't be a matter of life or death (talking about wizards or snipers here, low hp mod so usually they have "pretty" attack hats on our serv).

My opinion on lower wings is they are horrid no matter what their size is. Now these won't keep me from playing a server unless their stats are something OP as Yusifer mentioned. I'm okay with custom Hats if its purely for aesthetic purposes.

I don't like wings either. Specially on 99/70s Hyorinmaru looks very big and annoying too.

I am okay with them if they look good.  Just another gear that make your char look unique and to your likely.  Why not.

Let's also think back .. way back ... who started this whole trend with wings?  Gravity started to have little angel wing and little evil wing in Yuno or later.  Before that, there's the wing from angeling that was created as a custom wing by spriter.  I am pretty sure I saw more custom wings before that one.  Who can tell me which are the oldest custom wings around?

I started playing before bio lab and the new classes and I don't know if angel wings were available yet. Then again that was on a 3/2/2. However, jack be dandy were available so maybe in OBBs? I don't know, the serv's pop was pretty small.
