My WPH is +4 tho. So I assume the raw DEF of the hat is 4.  /?
Before renewal existed, each upgrade level gave +0.7 DEF.
I guess in classic server it works the same way, meaning that the real base-DEF of the hat is: 8 - (0.7*4) = 5.2 --> 5
But the amount of DEF shown in character's info window (and used in game) rounds up (or down) the sum o refine level of all equipments before applying it to the DEF shown (and used in game).

Long story short:
I need to know the DEF your character has when you have ONLY that hat equipped.
Or tell me all refines of your equipments, but that would take more time to do.

Asprika does if it's Melee.

Edit: To clarify... Asprika reduces all melee range attacks by 30%. This also applies to magic cast by monsters. Magic-type spells cast by players is considered ranged in regards to damage reduction items, and not impacted by Asprika in anyway.

Not sure why it works like that exactly. But yea... to be MORE specific. Ground Targeted magic spells were reduced. So Storm Gust from HWiz MVP can be reduced by it, but Jupitel Thunder from the same monster will not.

Off-topic Edit: You can also use Paladin's Shield Reflect or Valkyrie Manteau's reflect on the SG off screen to make HWiz teleport and the same thing with Sniper MVPs Claymore traps.

Don't worry about melee or long-range anymore, because I've just solved that problem adding "Enemy Attack Range" in "Monster Combat Simulator", allowing to ignore enemy basic attack range and enemy skill attack range /no1

eAthena is 97 VIT for 100% stun resist. I believe Hercules changed it to 100 VIT is 100% resist, and on the official servers is 100 VIT for 100%.

Sounds like the next step is adding a "server" selector.
I'm afraid it will take me some time to implement that, but it's not impossible! DONE!!  /no1
