Ragnarok Online HARDCORE MODE (a REAL challenge for good RO players)

Hello ladies and gentlemen. I'm just here to cordially invite you to try this custom mode.

Quick explanation: You start from scratch with zero gear. You die once, it's over. Your character is sent to a "graveyard" from which it cannot come back ever. Even reaching max level is a huge challenge when you lack gear and you're constantly worried about not dying. Of course this may be frustrating for some fearful players, so is not for everyone. But i highly recommend it, is an awesome experience to try at least once in life.

Do you consider yourself a good RO player? Would you dare to try the challenge?

NGL, the concept applied to prerrenewal seems interesanting too. Please tell me if some server implement it and you have someone streaming it or recording it to see it.

this is trivially easy if you are just patient. not much of a challenge when you have a lot of free time to kill.

I really don't think this will work. This game is a buggy mess. Get posi-bug, dead, it's over. Good s***. Not to mention the usual culprits for other games like disconnects.

Agreed.
Its a great idea, but one lag and you are a gonner.
Also a merchant in town would never be save, because of invasions and stuff.

On pre-re that's incredibly easy on some characters. Alchemist with homun probably the safest but one of the slower ones for sure.

While i do agree leveling can be easy if you go slow and safe, the thing is that later comes gear progression. I wonder how far can anyone get in prerrenewal when you need to start farming for example Randgri's Gear, or Morroc's Gear, being gearless an hoping to never die.

Or even worse, farming in Biolab 5 in renewal.
