Or maybe because people feel safe there since their work won't go so fast to hell?

They advertised pretty well so all the veterans came back.

I know all things come to an end, but I'd rather have 6 months worth of work wasted rather than 3-5 years. Happened to me on Loki and then again on Valkyrie. (when the servers updated to renewal) Update/Content change i wasn't to fond of which drove me away.

iRO classic so far started out really well, but in the end it's just going to be another carbon copy of Valkyrie that opened back in 2008. GM's are still ignoring the same problems that have destroyed their servers over the years.  It's going to be another slow process to hell all over again. I'm done with iRO and probably RO as a whole. Might try RO2 if i can get a korean to give me an account. :(

Also just a little fact iRO has had their dumb cash shop since 2007. It's nothing new in this server other than the VIP and that class stone which is all warp portals doing. So blame warp portal for that.

Nobody wants to invest in a LR that will quit in 3 months.

Most people will take the bots for grantes because it helps keeping WoE and the server ( $$ ) alive.

Kafra items are good for PvM, but actual gear for PvP/WoE is still better.

just gotta know how to look. Joining a server run by some kid in college you found on facebook is obviously going to fail... so investing grinding time is pointless.

Ragnarok Frontier is a low rate very similar to classic RO that's been up since 2004, since the owner is a dev of eAthena/aegis. He wont just give up that easily.

Other servers like TalonRO are still active because they have profits to keep motivated. And 1k+ average online.
