Mimic card farming

What are the best maps for farming with mimic card? and what class would you use?

and for the sake of making it easier to answer let's just say it's a 99/70 super highrate where you can warp to any dungeon/field

I would say Orc Dungeon 1 and 2, these two are the best populated maps imo

High wiz, or anything else with good AoE.

Depends on the rate of the server.

If it's super high, go to OD1 or OD2, magnum break GTB's mob (doesn't aggro), sunken ship 1(hydras) or ant hell 1 (ant eggs) are good fixed spawns. 
If it's a super high rate, get the alchemist card combo that gives OPB's and kill fixed spawns with cart revo.

If it's not such a high rate, try the eddga map like the above poster suggested.

Isn't it the other way around? The higher the (drop) rates are, the more Nine Tails wins over Mimic card/s? AFAIK the rates don't affect mimic card chance... or am I missing something? o:

I think the drop rates do affect mimic drop chances.  At least on some servers.

2 Mimic Cards
If your a merchant, do the OPB combo as well.

High Wizard, and if you have instant cast, SG, LOV, MS, AoE Spell of Choice in Juperos + Flywing.

Another really fun one is alootid, wear moonlight shoes, go to anthell, hit an ant, and lure them all too you, then use an AoE to annihilate them all. SS the bats as they will slow you down if you have s*** flee. Payon_Dun00, anthell01, Juperos are all really good places.

IIRC the drop rate of an OBB from a mimic card is fixed (as compared to how lately most item-dropping scripts from eA seem to vary with monster level), so if you have AOE then ant hell and hydra pools are easy and fast. If your server allows AFK levelling and has @autoloot then imho nothing beats a cheap character with HO card and fireblend in orc dungeon...

if DL cards are easy to get, then DL shoes and hydra pools with any 50 vit character and decent int does well...

or make it worthwhile and lure mob nightmares and OHKO with SS... or SS nine tails as some have mentioned...

juperos surely works too, but they are comparably harder...

and yes, if your server has a drop rate of 10x or more, don't even bother with a mimic as hunting nine tails is much faster... hell i play a 5x and i found that a mimic card ain't that great...

Just mob them... Ninteails + 2 mimic cards = mass OBB's

if it did, i would still say use a tengu clip/other item-dropping card to diversify your gains without experiencing diminishing returns...

Yes it works together.

It will first check mimic1 for a success. If success the second one wont trigger (afaik u can only get 1 "mimic-obb").
If u dont succeed the mimic2 will get checked for an success.

well then still it's a diminishing return stacked calculation, so i would still say go get a plasma card or something...
