How exactly does Elemental Sword work?

So i am wondering how this sword really works. Kinda hard to find some in depth information abt it.

What i'd like to know is, if i trigger the chain with cold bolt how many fire / light / earth bolts will the sword cast? One each? Or does the chain trigger the chain itself? Like, does the fire bolt proc from the chain trigger light / earth aswell?

Anybody knows how this sword really works? Would be much appreciated!

If it initially procs colt bolt, the chain is as follows:

Cold Bolt -> Lv3 Fire Bolt -> Lv3 Lightning Bolt -> Lv3 Earth Spike.

Additionally, you can manually cast cold bolt to instantly proc the full chain without relying on the sword's cold bolt proc chance.
You can even partially proc the chain by casting any of the other bolts (eg. manually using Fire Bolt will only chain Lightning Bolt and Earth Spike)

Any level works. If you want to spam it, just maximaze your dex (up to 150) and aspd (up to 190).

So with 1 sword each bolt will be cast once? What happens if i play SinX and use two swords? Will every bolt be cast twice?

There's actually an interesting interaction when dual wielding elemental swords.

Assuming you start the chain with cold bolt, each chain is proc'ed individually. Bolts triggered within the chain of the first elemental sword will trigger all parts of the chain on the second, performing a multi-cast per bolt. The total amount of bolts casted is as follows:

Cold Bolt - 1x
Fire Bolt - 2x
Lightning Bolt - 4x
Earth Spike - 8x

Assuming level 3 cold bolt is used, the whole bolt chain will produce 45 bolts in total.
