20 hours LAN Party | How to discover RO

Hello everyone,

I would like to organize a LAN Party and the idea was to present an old game to some friends.
Nobody ever played Ragnarok Online (except me). The idea was to setup a private server and play until the level 85-90 for MVPing.

I'm currently searching what kind of configuration (rates), version (pre-renewal/renewal) and xp path (to level together with some challenge) provide the most exciting experience.
I'm totally lost cause I never played RO since like 8 years and it's difficult for me to determine how to reach those aims.

Can I have some response to these questions :

• What rates to use to reach the level 85-90 with 8-10 hours of play ? (level, job, items)
• Shall we able to MVP as 5 with 2nd class on both Prerenewal and Renewal - with some challenge ? If yes, which ones ?
• Which zones/paths are the best (not in XP terms, but for teamplay) to xp on Pre and Renewal (the HP monster changes make them really weak on Renewal) ?
• Which version of the game would you choose (Pre/Renewal), although we'll never reach the trans/3rd jobs
