Have you played in RWC setting?
If a team is properly set up, you gonna get frozen by frost joke.. and clowns will mainly fall back, priests aswell.
Being frozen for those few seconds can mess up a teams momentum, usually giving the other team the upper-hand in putting pressure on the other team etc etc.

Anywayyy, for a champ 99/70 outside of RWC don't go for LUK lol, just tag properly.

can't say I've seen that happening in RWC considering frost joke/dazzler usually affects your own party as well. always see them flashing dances.

I've seen several RWC's where frost joke turned the tables.. and I don't know about you but frost is one of the more painful statuses in RWC. Prepare to get frost-efisted if you don't put some LUK in your build.

Our discussion is largely irrelevant to what TS wants, though.

Like any normal P.server player will ever be involved with RWC, in any way.

With 1 luk offering the grand amount of 0.3% freeze resistance, you sure are taking your chances considering you don't even get your full amount of stat points to allocate, but oh well.

MDEF is more effective if you're aiming to counter freeze without marc/ED, though.

Please be aware that in a RWC situation you have limited resources to use, and you (probably) don't even different armors to switch around with.

So wearing full MDEF gear to prevent that Freeze is not too viable.

LUK is actually quite an underrated stat though, you gain a lot of increased immunity to different statuses from it, not only Freeze.

Since most LUK builds in RWC are almost always in a priest.. my friend told me they go somewhere along these lines:

80 VIT
10-20 INT
80-90 LUK
around 15-20 dex
rest in STR

Hell, some wizzies put agi in their build to cut some delay on magic, mostly ganbantein.
