Surviving Asura

Is there anyway to do it on different classes outside of Devilring Card and Ghostring card? 

Right now I'm playing a stalker and I find it impossible to hide/dodge the asura fist because they have instant cast (on a 99/70 server) and have ruwach to stop the hide. 

aside from the random chance that I might break their weapon with a swordbreaker, is there anyway to survive the asura attempt without those 2 cards?

Wool Scarf+Raydric
Tidal boots+green ferus card
combat knife/slotted swordbreaker
2x Orleans glove+zerom card

Depending on availability, there are some low/mid headgears that reduce damage from demihuman too. Aside from that, either battlegrounds equips or diablo's manteau/proxy skin fragment with variants.

You might also wanna try to maximize your HP, for example necklaces with spore cards as accessories, if you're quick enough switch in armor with peco card and recover that hp before asura lands.

Hmm..i believe that if you are up against a max level player with asura and complete equips its quite difficult to survive. you  may be able to lower the damage using custom equips as said above but just using common equips i doubt that if you are a rogue you will able to survive. tuff luck man.

Maximizing hp works since stalker.. iirc don't have that bad of a HP modifier.

what ^ said is true, a well played champion with insta cast > stalker, cause imo they're in different tiers whereas champ has the advantage.

Stalker shouldn't survive asura (w/out ghostring/deviling)
Paladin or LK should survive it, because of lot of HPs
Proffesor/Support HW could survive it, because of Energy coat, but they need lot of reduction (50-57 Demi, 25-27 neutral) and lot of HPs too

My final piece of advice, don't get hit. Stalker got Chase Walk, means if it's in duel you can avoid him since Ruwach does not remove it, and with advantage of first strike it's possible to kill him (I'd probably use copied Shield Boomerang with mailbreaker, then frost diver scrolls, full strip and eliminate by whatever means are at hand).

There's no way you can survive a full-asura champ, but you can tank hybrid builds with high vit and that equip (a diablo's boot+mant would be better, if not proxy skin, gentleman's pipe, blush of groom and large baphomet horns with a fixed script). But going pure tank will probably kill your build.

Also if you can get near them use close confine, and run away as you see the palm push strike animation

Or as Sarin said, status shield boomerang + chasewalk.

Ok thanks guys.

The one thing I've found that works is if I'm insanely lucky and rub my lucky rabbits foot just the right way, I can strip them before they get the asura off and I take barely any damage and survive it.  I've done it about 3 times today but it's not easy to do.  It's like ripping a bulls horns off his head the split second before he gores you in the chest. 

That's about all I can hope I guess.

eh. just stack glorious gear and hope for the best. all in all tho, it's not too feasible to survive these things as a stalker. getting devo would prob be best

Devo on stalker is imo pointless, only if he plays something like North Wind Stalker

Strip the champ = easily hide or possibly even tank the asura.
