Any SinX that falls prey multiple times to metaling isn't using his/her brain.

As for tactics, think of your own tactics.. every enemy you face plays differently, you just have to work out your options and adapt.
Trial and error..

For LK
Common approaches are sight, magnum break with a status weapon, fire conv'd bbs, outrun and spear boom..

SinX
Status venom knife throw (freeze most likely), stone curse shield tag, ...or just an SB and backslide.. =/.

Obviously the LK would win
All sinxs have 0 skill and if the LK survives that first SB, the sinx would be too noob-disoriented to do anything and be weapon stripped.

I think the same. EDP + Cursed Water + Link (if possible). If not frenzy and he's using ghostring, he couldn't have more than... 30k HP? Ignoring his Def (incantation) and prpoer build/equip, you can deal that damage easily. Almost all LK act the same, when almost die, they frenzy. There, Hide + Grim til death. =P Or SB til death. If LK has high DEF, Soul Destroy + Cloak til death (Ice Pick + Immaterial) is also a nice choice.

Obviusly, is all the same, gears and build are importants factors while dueling, but tactics and experience is the most important ever.

You could always try being cowardly and wait for the LK to zerk then just use hide and grimtooth or wait it out until he gets mad and goes away

Am I the only one seeing the scenario of EDP+Link not "sinx vs LK"? If the formula for the duels include buffs, then I'd get a devotion as a LK.

honestly, these kind of buffs are pretty normal for a 1v1 sinx vs LK pvp. Linker is easily dualed while Paladin isn't.

If both of them know nothing but rush each other and start BB/bash/SB each other, SinX is likely to oneshot LK given good equip. If LK's got some skill, he can easily take out the SinX. If SinX have skill, he won't give LK much chance.

yeah sinx is a hard enemy...because sinx can hiding and cloaking..and use EDP..
but LK will win if use a good equip and use a skill area...

Skilled Sinx > All other Melee Jobs.

Doesn't really matter if LK has or not good stuff (Inca = Byebye DEF), only Element, Size and/or Race reduction can help LK. As it was say, LK wears Ghost, so, Cursed Water and ther it goes Ghost. Without Link, only EDP and that katar can 1 shot KO that LK easily, and if he doesn't die, I'm sure than after that he'll berserk (like almost all LK). LK can have a lot of HP... But don't forget, Sinx and Palis have one of the highest HP Modifiers in the game (the highest one is LK), so .::AsSaSsiN-X::., is not an excuse than LK has lot of HP, cause Sinx also has lot of HP... and Sinx has also more destructives skills than LK has.

I think that if that sinx is medium experienced and that LK is medium experienced, Sinx can easily win. But if LK has more experience and skills than Sinx has, it could be dificult for that Sinx. As an unexperienced LK (i mean, if you are LK and don't really know how to act against that Sinx) I would wear High Orc, well upgraded Valkyrians Manteau, Orc Lord, Thorny Shield + Bison Horn and Sheep Hat (if is it possible). That will reflect (+7 Valkyrians) like 64% Physical Damage (if your HP is like 25k, he must hit you 25k in orther to kill you, but he'll receive back like 16k damage). If Sinx 1 shot KO you, there's high change that he'll also die (depends on his HP). If he's low HP and you can survive, he'll probably die. If you are not sure you can survive, you must wait until you can see him goin' to atack you, so go berserk and he'll die. If you die and he survives, change that shield and use a strong shield (with Hig Orc or, if still unsure that reflecting damage won't hill him, with alice). Im' sure that after he dies by his own damage, he will not try you anymore or he'll only try either soul destroy or grim.

Mutally Assured Destruction is one of ways, that's true. LK can push things as far as "either both or neither" by using hide clip to force SinX to melee or ignore him.

Depending on ease of getting equip, full AGI/VIT/DEX LK with Edge can also rely on flee and his HP pool to actually survive till coma kicks in...after all, SB has HIT penalties. But that's a risk.

The way I see it...best way would be to use hide to get SinX to come close to unhide you (provided he actually has a way to unhide you), then try a blade with metaling and other status stuff, switching for Edge once the metaling kicks in.
