Well both marc and ed are good  just depends on the situation.
For example, wear marc when going into pre cast.
And wear ed for emp breaking. And in case you're wondering why no ed during pre cast is because if they're using meteor storm which most pre cast do...it will do more damage on you and make you die faster.

well, you should still use Vesper Cores 02 if possible. Horong card comes handy so keep one for switching, and if on your server is common to have highly refined stuff, try to go for +9 tidals with firelock card.
Whenever facing people with high def (about 45+), you should use Bloody Roar as weapon.
Using Thara when empbreaking is...questionable, and depends on situation. While it provides you with +30% reductions, it also slows your empbreaking speed roughly by half.

The Sign is also a good access.

Chain Mail[1]s are a decent armor too.

Chain mails are useful for no-agi builds. Regarding The Sign...it depends on build. It can be good accessory, if yos can do without one +str accessory.
