Haha. SB is one of most noobish builds in RO ever. In PvP you will oneshot 95% of people...but you need link (first lameness), EDP (second lameness-in PvP duels EDP is not nescessary), and requires zero skill (third lameness).

Build I presonally recommend is haf-agi katar hybrid. Not as tough as pure SB, but with some skill able to deal with groups and extremely tough chars like paladins etc.

Hmm.. I see. Do tell me more about it. Its build, equips needed.

I think you'd be better off asking Sarin's hybrid agi type. It's true what he says about SB types being regarded as noobs.

Yeah, I've asked him about it already. I'll just look forward to his reply. Thanks anyway for the build. I'd still try it though. Actually, if ever he's going to reply.. I'd also try what he's saying. Heh.

Because all SB takes is a Link and EDP and you're set.
The build takes 0 effort, 0 skill, and is completely noob because of what I just said.

Because every Sonic Blow Sin X thinks they're God's gift to RO. SB is like Asura/Grape Juice spamming, it takes no skill, it's a one-shot kill regardless of your build, and takes no forethought or effort.

What's funny is that people who rely on Sonic Blow Sin Xs rarely play another class, because they're "too hard".

I usually use DD on a 99/70 server. Provided that you can get 2 Doppel and 1 TGK. If not, don't even think about it. I can get 40k HP with a SinX. 99 Vit and TGK. If these items are near impossible to get, then don't use this build. =/

'bout my build...gnerally it is based about creative use of cloaking, hide, grimtooth, stone throw, meteor assault, venom dust and throw knife..oh and SB too, as finishing move. It's much better "duel" build since you have possibilities how to kill anyone without need of link or EDP. Takes some experience with RO, you gotta know your enemy's weakness. But then, pretty much anyone can be dealt with. At WoE, it is also about your ability to evaluate the battle and pick your target.

Stats (without any outside buffs): 120 str, 75-90 agi, 60 dex, what's left goes to vit. About 12k-13k hitpoints with right equip, enough to survive if you aren't stupid.

Equip: Little more than SB build, forget defensive equip except thara for switching sometimes. You need from two to four weapons, minimum is +4 boned infiltrator and jur or slotted ele katar with various status cards (metaling is one of my favs, thana maero is top if you get it, sleep and curse are next two most interesting). Bloody Roar, and empbreaking katar are also good to have.

Against good players, SB SinXs need to be good to be played effectively, period.

Good SB sin is kinda contradiction. Why? Because full SB sin have only two effective skills at all, SB and Meteor Assault. If a player is noobish, it is enough for him, if he isn't, he gets bored and starts to explore more possibilities of SinX...and changes his build.

I met a lots of good players already. None of them was playing full SB sin.

@bella: the best you can do to learn is to watch other good players. My build is tricky, because it is quite fragile, and if you do something wrong, like attacking WS or sacri pally right away on melee, you will end up dead very quickly. You need to know your possibilities and possibilities of your oponnent. It is not as hard as it looks, you got total of 17 (I think) playable classes, most of them have one or two fav builds. Not that hard to know who has what weakness. Just use your brain, if you will think you can be a good player very quickly, I've gone from newb to that sin I use in less than year.
Speaking of basics...hard to say what you know and don't know. I'd advise looking at guides around the forums and at RMS writings section, some of these will give you a decent tips about what people use. I wrote a decent guide to SinX for lowrate myself, it is still lying somewhere in guides section here. I should update it someday...

Good SB Sin X? Oxymoron. Haven't met one that I couldn't stomp into the dirt, no matter what class I play.

It's actually hilarious on HRs when somebody goes SB and my LK can make hamburger out of them. :X

La Bella Vita, I know a build that's pretty tough to pull off, but if you'd like, drop me a PM and I can tell you the specifics of it, it's my old FaithRO build that was worth about 20K damage if done right.

20k damage? Could be with good Icepick build, or is it critical? It can be of course pulled off with SB if linked...

A good SB SinX is one that has the SB build, but does not rely on 2 skills only.

Remember they still can Grimtooth, albeit slowly, and many others.
