Executioner[1] if you can get your hands on one.  No endow needed to bypass those pesky raydrics.

+10 Katana[4] w/ ( any combo of : ) Breeze(external bleed), Savage Bebe(stun), Requiem(chaos), Metaller(mute), Metaling(strip weap).

Zerking and locking onto the opposing guild master works well.

Magnum break in mobs of people for good chance to status.  Same can be done with a +10 pike, wish brandish spear.  Throw spear with a quad status also works nicely.

For Spiral pierce, Hunting Spear[1] (420 weight) out DPS' Pole Axe[1] (380 weight).  Both are 1 handed, and the hunting spear has 20 more ATK than the pole axe ( yes I know ATK doesn't play that much of a role in spiral, matters for brandish ).
