Reflect Shield + Valk Manteau

I wanted to know what the total ATK reflected would be if a Pally had Lv 10 Reflect Shield, and wore a +10 Valk Mant.

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be 60% (40% from Reflect Shield, 20% from Valk Mant)... I don't think it stacks linearly.

Also, what would be the total with a +4 Valk Mant?

And which logic brings you to that? One reflects 40%, the other reflects 20%. 40+20=60, amirite?

The logic that not all percentages in RO stack linearly... as I included in my post.

For example:

Defender Lv. 10 + Horn card, does not result in 115% damage reduction from ranged.
Thats an 80% ranged reduction from Defender, and 35% ranged reduction from Horn Card. 80+35=115 linearly

Just a simple question. How'd you want to stack reflect nonlinearly the way it will make sense?

Thats what I'm trying to find out.

I dont whant to stack it linearly, because I don't think it does.

i think you're talking about this

Damage = 100
On defender = 100 - 80% = 20 Damage
Equip Horn card = 20 - 35% = 13 Damage

So the total reduction is 100-13 = 87% reduction and not 115% reduction.

anyway on your topic,

there will be two sets of damage.

So you'll "see" 20% for +10 Valk and a 40% for lvl 10 shield reflect.

which adds up to ...60%

160%? Hold on...that means that you'd reflect more than you take...I don't think it'll work that way...

Or did you mean that you'll reflect independently 40% and 20% of damage taken? Since reflected damage is' to my knowledge, not reduced by vitdef, it will come out as 60%, linear stacking.

edited, thanks for pointing out the typo ahha.

anyway, yes that's what i'm trying to say, the end result will be a 60% damage.

With enough cards, you can be oneshotting MvPs with reflect...

But that's not what we're talking about here.

It's fun, though.
