Paladin card set

I'm not sure if the Archdam, Permeter, Freezer, Heater card combo is worth using for a Sac/Shield Paladin.
The combo bonus is as follows:

int + 1
str + 1
def + 2
10% more damage with Shield Chain and Sacrifice
Reduce casting time by 10%

Archdam-armor, gives: + 10 ATK, increase casting time 20%, holy property on armor (pally/saders)
Permeter-head, gives: 15% more resistance to shadow and undead
Freezer-foot, gives: Max hp + 300
Heater-accessory, gives: crit rate + 3, perfect dodge + 3 (swordsman class)

It would be a good combo if you were on Shield chain I believe.  Better yet, it'd be more useful as a Shield chain + Grand cross Paladin.

Yeah, the holy property added to the armor due to Archdam would be quite nice for a Grand Cross Paladin.
The only issue I have with the Archdam card is the 20% increase in cast time, wich would require more dex for Grand Cross and Shield Chain.

And theres somthing about card sets that I don't like. Maybe it's that most sets usually take up all armor slots (foot, head, accessory, etc.)

It's reduced to 10% if you have the set at least.

Yeah, 10% isn't that bad. Considering that the many positive aspects of the set out-weigh one negative one.

This is true. Sets are not very flexible. Depending on your server, if u can get an Angeling card reasonable easy, then this Crusader set is useless. I don't see much benefit from it expect the Holy armor aspect.


If you want more Shield Chain power - get a Cross Shield[1], a drop from Incarnation of Morroc

Angeling card is pretty hard to come by on my server, (card drop rate of 0.2%).

The Cross shield is dropped by Incarnation of Morroc? The "dropped by" section of the Cross shield information window reads "no result".

Or, is it because it has not been updated since the Episode 12 implement?

The answer is no, archdam needs the full set in order to give you holy property armor.
