I just started having the same problems. Clearing cache and cookies does not fix the issue. Neither does upgrading to Firefox3 or upgrading java, (which I have done). The only add-on I have is the google toolbar.
This is what came up in my Error Console:
*1 of this error:
Warning: Error in parsing value for property 'filter'. Declaration dropped.
Source File:
http://ratemyserver.net/ro-character-simulator/charsim.cssLine: 210
*4 of these errors:
Error: Permission denied to call method Location.toString
*9 of these errors:
Warning: Error in parsing value for property 'border-style'. Declaration dropped.

*1 of this error:

*1 of this error:
Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... So yeh... I have no clue what the problem is, I do not know how to fix it, and I'm rather frustrated.

Does anyone know how to alleviate this issue?

Well I found out why some people are having this issue. This is related to a Flash security policy update:
http://willperone.net/Code/as3error.phpThe above link explain that:
-"If you're running FireFox, you are getting this cryptic message in the error console: "Uncaught exception: Permission denied to call method to Location.toString".
Only some users are getting this error and others aren't."
-"There was a Flash security update between version Flash 9.0.115.0 and 9.0.124.0 that changed the behavior of the crossdomain security policy file"
This goes beyond my computer literacy...
