That guide is very simple and it'll walk you through.

And go to the eAthena forums for your other problems.

For your rag.exe problem, I'm guessing it's one of the diffs in the client that's why it's giving you errors.

That's part of 'server making' support.  Nothing we could help here but I recommend Eurydice's suggestion.  Check eathena.ws forum too.  I am sure there are many guides on using different patchers there already.
