How about adding "Dual/Multi Client" whether it is allowed or not on a server?

I've seen a few RO sites that won't even tell whether it is allowed or not.

I'm referring to this one btw:

It wouldn't hurt, but the vast vast majority of servers permit dualing due to whiners.

Only know of one that still doesn't allow it - LimitRO - and they're banned on RMS.

I don't consider that as a an in-game feature really.  That's too technical to include as a search option.

Yep that's the problem. I went through Ragna Villa and thought duals clients were allowed but no. I hope I'll see more servers that will immediately tell in their server description at rms if duals are allowed or not, or in their website, if this gets rejected.

Well being honest nowadays there's almost no server that doesn't allow dual-clienting. I only saw it really rarely that they do not allow so but if they didn't they have stated so in their rules or wherever.

The more annoying thing is knowing you may dual client or at least you are assuming so and you later on figure out that they have an afk blockage. Moving every fews secs is annoying (if you have to leech yourself that is - otherwise doesn't matter as much).

There are only few servers left who really is strict about the dual client issues as for my server I'll have it use multi clients. xD

Does it null the "multi client not allowed rules" if you just have two computers running one client on each?

Depends on the server. Some servers will ban you for that just 'cause; others won't, because the rule is there to avoid client manipulation.

Meh.

Dual clients are hard to detect, although it's not impossible. Imo people dual client all the time and especially in WoE servers where they serve as buffers and whatnots. So, meh.

I allow Dual-Clienting. However, it's not really a bad thing to dual client in a SHR server as it is for MR etc. because leaving another char to vend etc.

well it really depends on the server cause if the server has customs or obtainable IRO items like FCP or buff's duel client is not needed  so most of rates like super and high duel client isnt needed as for mid and low they are needed to lvl woe pvp and so on but there is many ways to stop client edits

I think including it as a searchable option would be useful. You could just have it as a yes/no type thing, whether it allows multi-clienting or not. It'd then be up to the server to state specifics, like if they only disallow it only with multiple clients on one computer, or like some servers I've seen where its a one person per client kind of thing. It is something that generally has a decent effect on a player's decision to stick with a server or not. Some people I've played with absolutely won't play on servers that don't allow them to be their own buffers, and other friends tend to stick with servers that disallow multi-clienting because they find it correlates with communities that do more together.

I think the most important is whether it is allowed during WoE or not. I know a couple servers that don't allow it during WoE, but don't make it as clear as it should be to new players.
