rms user group, and new undersection inside off topic.

Discussion developed into: rms user group for active members. No other benefits except access to an undersection to offtopic where you can discuss things you feel are off topic, but not offtopic spam.(which the offtopic section kinda is.. spam.)

It's all developing communities! Grab that head of yours and realise that some things go into a stand still and that's not what we should want.
All in all, I think this is a positive change for rms, since lately it's been the same over and over. There are no downsides, and no real upsides, except you get a user title, and access to a new forum section.

As an alternative, we could instead of adding people here and there, have a post count setting, where say 500 is needed to get the rights to go have access to the section.
Using a post count as a measurement of if you are qualified to be a part of the rms regulars/active users and gain access to this discussion board, is a wonderful idea as you would have to be fairly active and a regular user of rms.

Please, post what you think of this as it's a fact that if things go in the same loop over and over and over and over and over and over again you do get bored, and not just you, so people tend to lose interest.

There is a lot of content deemed 18+ regarding ro, life, the universe and everything.

So why not a 18+ section? Most people that come here are from 13~25, so making a section where you need to be listed as 18 would be nice.
We can have adult pictures, discussions and more. Even a more mature discussion section for when people are being retards, and you want to vent your anger, or discuss a matter that you don't think is appropriate for a 14 year old to read.

Also you can share your stuff and whatnot. Many users would agree to this, at least those few that are 18+.

Though I'd like the freedom to post an occasional rude pic, having it all in 1 section would just turn it into a crapwhole and allowing it everywhere is simply unacceptable, so I'm leaning towards a no.

I still find it quite interesting, alternatively we can create a sub division group called "Regulars of rms", where you must ask a moderator for access and have been a member for so and so long, and active in the community(ie, people know who you are).

That might be better, as we can freely discuss private servers, who is a dick, and what's this blablabla.

Lately rms has gotten boring(once agani), and it'd be fun with some new things here and there.

Hmm, I mod a forbidden section on animerender.., it's +18, anything's allowed.. etc (it's mostly hentai anyway)

I wouldn't mind, but then again I'm open for anything..

Still, a +18 section isn't exactly something you'd call appropriate for a board that is focused on rating servers. Sure we'd like a place to chill, be ourselves etc, but is that really our mission here?

Again, I don't mind.. but chances of this happening are probably not high

Descent, yes I "settled", because I thought about this, and came to the conclusion that since yC doesn't want one, then having a rms regulars group would maybe be better. There are many things different ro admins doesn't want read, and maybe want to talk about, who knows.

For example, if I would want to discuss a matter I would deem to be only to a small group of rms users, or only normal users of rms which most likely idiots would spam down, or mess up I would(lot's of "would" now) post in the new section, or an undersection of the off topic section.

The undersection thing seems good to me though, the group "rms regulars" would be able to read that, and it could be used for all rms issues, and non rms issues that we don't really see fit anywhere else.
Talking about interserver things, discussing various servers without having a ton of server admins go wtfbananasplits over it, using it for iro talk, non irotalk, and similar topics.

But, seeing as we have the "off topic" section, for things that you don't see fit anywhere else they should go there, no. Not really. Off topic is used for spam, a good example is the topics patapon has been posting, and other random.. randoms that have been made.

This I think would be a good measure, since the undersection would not be used for spam and such, but more discussions where you wouldn't think you could discuss it anywhere else without being spammed down, or moron-ized.
