Mistakes in the Mob Database

Here's the problem I've been running into lately: some monsters are able to detect a hidden or cloaked character simply by virtue of being insects or demons, others are true detectors.  Now, getting a loyal pet smokie, with an accessory equipped, means that you gain the perfect hide ability.  So those creatures that can only detect you because they are insects or demons, can no longer detect you, however the true detectors (i.e. Mutant Dragonoid, Gryphon, Maya Purple) still can.
The part where this becomes a problem is that some critters fit into both categories, that is that they're insects or demons, but they are still true detectors, so even though you can hide from normal insects and demons, you can't from these.  Since the site doesn't distinguish between HOW a monster sees through cloaking, there is no way to tell, from RMS, if demons or insects will see someone with perfect hide.  Is there any way that the database could be updated with this information and, if so, is this something that people will need to go test to find the information for?

that is about the effect of the smokie pet can't do anything about it.

isn't there a saying that boss (mini boss too?) monsters can see thru hide no matter what?

Yeah, MVP no matter what.  Minibosses. . . well define miniboss.  There are creatures that have multiple spawns on one map that still see through no matter what.  But there has to be some flag for "seeing through it no matter what" as opposed to "seeing through it unless there's a pet smokie".  Even an extra comment added on for one type or the other would be enough to distinguish for people trying to look that info up.  I could be wrong and having the smokie could be overriding the detector ability for specific mobs, but there would still be a flag or a few on the mobs that would be looked for to see if a smokie pet can override it.  I'll admit, I haven't had the chance to test on EVERY mini-boss, insect, and demon in the game yet, but there are conflicting "matter of fact" statements over how it works/what it works on, so without having a reliable rule, I ask that they be distinguished in the database.

I should say that in Aegis pets DO NOTHING. So the whole 'perfect hide' thing was a myth (or perhaps how Gravity intended it to be, but was never implemented). So I suppose the whole topic here is about how it is on emulators. I'll explain eAthena.

In modern versions insects/demons no longer get automatically 'detector', it has to be explicitly set in their 'mode' column of the mob_db. This kind of detection is blocked by "perfect hide". Additionally, all mobs that in their mode specify "boss" (generally all mvps and mobs that are usually referred to as mini-bosses) also have a detector mode which cannot be avoided through 'perfect hide'.

And that's how it is in eA.
