Okay so I started playing NovaRo but unfortunately, I can't play well because my computer keeps on detecting it and I don't want to turn off my anti virus cause I've had bad experiences regarding viruses, then here comes a computer shop owner that I know and he plugs in his flash drive and runs TalonRO and pooof no detection (don't know why though) so I'm planning to switch from NovaRO to TalonRO can anyone tell me about this server?  /hmm

Hello, 1st I've got to ask you if you put NovaRO in your antivirus exceptions >w<
anyway if you are looking for a classical RO server well that's TalonRO, the community is nice and they have a well organized forum/wiki and web page, as far as I remeber some GMs there are capable and nice. Some friends several times suggested me to join it, honestly the only think that kept me from joining Talon is its age  /heh  other than that is an ok server

I assure you our client has no viruses in it. :[ Probably running Avast, which is known to throw many false positives with Private Server clients. I hope you give us another shot and do what Noble said!
(And thanks for keeping true to your name Noble)

Thing is, Patchers can be considered a "Trojan" type of virus, because it receives and sends information. Also the use of Gameguard and other Guards like xTrap are considered a Trojan. I'm sure the files are safe just anti-virus is being derpy. Cant you just allow the folder to bypass the anti virus?

Sometimes it depends on the anti-virus being used. Some are really bad reading headers of files and interpret them.

Hi.

I do not know what protection is used there, but I'll write a little bit about a good protection.

It is normal that the antivirus finds a virus in the protection files.
Files with protections are packed through UPX archiver for data encryption (protection against hacking/bypass and copying/steal code).
As a result, You can get false positives from your antivirus.

All well-known companies send their files to antivirus companies, and they are not detected by antivirus.
Private servers can not do it.
