I've been trying countless new servers lately and somehow I still haven't found what i'm looking for.

Primary Req.: Allows botting (even id implicitly). I don't know if it's just me but botting as a whole is a crucial part of my RO life. I find it a constant struggle to better my botting skills and as a primary start, I want a server that's not as stringent when it comes to banning bots. I'm simply planning on running 1 or 2 bot at a time. Must not have HARMony. Why are private server owners so self-righteous when what they do themselves is in itself illegal?

Rates: I prefer mid or high rate.

Commands: @storage, @gstorage, @go, @warp --> optional

Custom NPCs: healer, job changer, warper, platinum skills, etc

Renewal / non-renewal: both is fine

I doubt you'll ever find a server that openly allows botting.
It breaks the entire system of what's intended, as you're not playing but a program is for you, people specifically administrators don't want a program playing but users so they can interact with one another to make the game fun and to raise the number of players potentially, if only bots run around there won't be any teaming or chatting which kills the fun. Also another pat of botting is you get items while doing so which everybody is against at as you obviously didn't get it yourself but just used a program to repeat the same action again and again.

Can you imagine? A server where bots are playing happily with each other, without any real players?
Isn't that the dream of ANY botter?

Ridiculous, just ridiculous.

Really, this is awful, man.

The people who develop OpenKore ran KoreRO for a while. I don't know if it's still up. It had the best community, best economy, and some of the best PvP/WoE players I've seen in this game. I could buy any piece of equipment I needed from friendly people, then have a great time in WoE with people who knew what they were doing.

People who talk negatively about the impact of bots on community and economy don't know anything about economy, community, bots, or people who bot. RO developed alongside rampant botting from almost day one. It's as much a part of the game as anything else.

I don't think that it's still up[not 100% sure but I checked some months ago and was dead].
[offtopic]They had one of the best website add-ons that I've seen where you could just buy everything that anyone was selling in game after a log in there without jump into the game[a really rare feature to find].[/offtopic]

If you don't want to grind maybe you could try to search for a server without that? Just saying it because I've seen servers with malls that sell everything and zenny/currency item could be achieved trough PVP/BG/WoE to buy them.

lol troll

bots are supposed to be forbidden...even tho some servers bypass botters and don't punish them at all °A°
maybe you can try your luck in some random server

When your looking for a Server that allow Botting so why not a Server that give all Items ?

Meta

There was a time early on when people intelligently debated the merits of botting on iRO's own forums.

Botting isn't really hard on Server that don't allow that... ;)

And while it can be good on a server with +3000 active non-botting players, it would be devastating on a server with 10 players (non-botting) and 30 botting players. There's also the gap of people that know how to bot or where to get it from.

Everything has a knowledge gap. That's not a functional argument for banning something. And why would it be devastating on a small server?

As already mentioned in my first post, people want to play on a server where there are actual people on. Nobody wants to play on a server that has nobody to interact with. Might as well play ragnarok offline, log some bots and play alone.

What's the point in taking your time to download a server, register an account to not actually play it?

Bots destroy they game thats why they are not allowed in any MMO never mind just Ragnarok Online.

I offered an example that contradicts these popular but wrong pieces of wisdom:

It's unfortunate that the "bots are evil" rhetoric keeps people from discussing the subject in a productive way. Bots can add a lot to the game if regulated properly.

Small reminder :

Don't forget that this section is to post servers that go up with what people request(s). You may not like the choices[like a low rate hates high rates as the most basic example] but that's how life goes, nobody is the same.
If Meta likes to play a server where it's allowed to bot then it's up to Meta. Post some servers that go up with the requests or ignore the topic.
