Title: LF> Low to mid rate server with custom skin tones
Post by: AnotherOctopus on Oct 17, 2017, 11:29 PM
I know that there weren't too many choices for this kind of thing besides the occasional RP server if I was lucky, but I was just wondering if anything has changed in the past five or so years. A stat/skill reset NPC that costs Zeny would be nice as well, but it's not necessary. Nothing crazy, like purple or green skin. Just brown. Thanks! /no1

Hello there!
Ragnaclan is the perfect server for you.
We're a 99/70 pre-renewal server with 30x30x10x rates. Current playerbase is 200+ without vendors or duals. With vendors/duals 450+ usually.
We offer human skin palettes. I always thought it would be nice to have more skin palettes in ragnarok.  /no1

Looks promising, so I'll give it a shot. Thanks!

Edit: Nevermind, I'm not interested in paying real money to be a brown character. :/

The skin colors are also in our gold rush (slot machine based event) and can be purchased from players.

I don't mean to be rude, but I find it to be kind of insulting that I have to put in more effort than "normal" skinned players just to be my own skin color in a video game, as if it's a stylish cosmetic that'll make me look cooler or something. I'd rather just find a server with a stylist that doesn't charge me to be a different race, even though that's doubtful since you're the only one who's replied. Sorry.

I'll donate you the 1$ for your skin color from my personal pocket if you want.  /no1
Didn't mean to insult you in any possible way. Honestly didn't look at it from this perspective. I'll bring it up in our next staff meeting, maybe I'll make them by default available for everyone in the future.

Hi AnotherOctopus!

OriginsRO is a low rates (5x/5x/5x/3x) classical Ragnarok Online server with pre-renewal mechanics and official-like gameplay. Origins is stable and runs smoothly in most regions. You can also play on Mac and Linux! oRO does not have a donation system, and as such we do not have a broken cash shop or game breaking NPCs like Healer/Warper/Instant Warp etc.

You mentioned skin tones as a feature; in OriginsRO, when you create a game account, you can choose a hometown which will determine the skin color of your characters. There is the default "white" skin, pale, tan and black.

OriginsRO meets all of your criteria except for a Resetter. If you think this is the server for you, then check the links below to get started!

Have any questions? You can ask the staff or many of our players in the public Discord channel. The fastest way to reach staff members is through Telegram @OriginsRO.

Enjoy your time on OriginsRO!

Aw, I feel like a jerk now. x_x' That's really thoughtful of you, and you don't have to apologize for anything, since I doubt that you personally made the decision for that sort of thing in the first place.

I'd feel like a d-bag if I didn't give Ragnaclan a chance, but I'll keep OriginsRO in mind if I'm in the mood for grinding. Thanks!
